Good Day, Friends; Trust is something that we develop as we become older and wiser. When we have troubles in our lives, who should we trust to assist us? Do we trust man? Jeremiah 17:5-6 tells us, "5 Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD. 6 For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited."
No, our trust should be in God, our Lord, as we are told in Psalm 33:20-21, "20 Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he is our help and our shield. 21 For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name."
Trust in God, ask Him for help and thank Him in prayer for all that he does for us. May God bless.
