Threefold cord!

4:12 And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a
threefold cord is not quickly broken.

What does it mean "Threefold Cord"?​
 
i dont know if this is the right meaning or not but i believe it relates to a rope being made of 1 strand breaks easily, but a rope made of 3 strands can withstand more because even if one strand breaks there are still 2 strands there to hold it together. i hope that makes sense

one of us can be strong, 2 of us together are even stronger and 3 even stronger still.
