Tidings of Comfort and Joy

My husband had his 2nd round of chemo last Tuesday and tomorrow gets his blood levels checked. Last treatment his blood counts dropped dangerously low. Please pray for him and for my daughter.

Thank you so very much for sharing that special note with us. Having lost my dear wife to cancer this past July I could definitely identify with what your daughter wrote. Yes "tidings of comfort and joy" can be a real blessing. The hope, the joy, of one day seeing our Lord face to face is enough to wipe away any tear of sadness. All tears will be of great joy and the peace and comfort of being with our Lord. This old body will one day be made new. Hallelujah!!

I still remember your daughter and husband in prayer regularly. I'm encouraged by your daughter's faith and courage, and yours as well. My prayer is for comfort, and peace, and blessings from our Lord.
