Monday, December 9, 2013, 6:30 p.m. – the Lord Jesus put the song “My Cry for Mercy” in my mind. Speak, Lord, your words to my heart. I read 2 Peter 3 (ESV).
Until the Day
Jesus chided the religious leaders of his day because they asked him to give them a sign from heaven, in order to test him. Yet, there were many signs that had already been given and yet their eyes were blinded to them, for they refused to believe. So, Jesus scolded them for being able to interpret weather signs but for not being able to interpret the signs of the times. As recorded in Luke 21 and in other passages of scripture, Jesus told his disciples some of the signs of the last days prior to his return. We are told in scripture that we will not know the day or the hour of our Lord’s return, yet Jesus said that when we see these things begin to take place, we should know that the time is near. I believe there are many such signs happening in today’s world and church which can be seen if we have ears to hear and eyes to see. We are also told that for those of us who are in the light, his return should not take us by surprise, for we should be watching (seeing) and waiting for his return.
For the past several years, the Lord Jesus has been opening my eyes to see some of these signs of the times. Many of them exist within today’s institutional church, as we have witnessed for some time now the spiritual decline of the church, particularly here in the USA, and the move toward worldliness and the embracing of the things of the world in order to reach the world. I read a good quote this week that summed this up pretty well. It said, “The preacher's job is to proclaim the faith, not to entertain unbelievers - to feed the sheep rather than amuse the goats" (J. I. Packer). The church is not here to provide clean-cut entertainment for the world. It is here to strengthen, encourage, teach, counsel and exhort the believers in Jesus Christ in holy living so that they can go out into the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Instead, the gospel is being diluted in order to appeal to the people of the world, and so the church is on a severe spiritual decline, which fits well with the subject matter in many of the letters to the churches in Revelation. And, the New Pope is a loud global voice for this diluted gospel, worldly teaching, and ecumenical movement, too.
The Political Arena
If we read or listen to news stories, and choose not to accept them at face value but rather to test them in prayer, seeking God’s face with a willing heart to know the truth of what is really going on in our world, I believe the Lord Jesus will open our eyes and will show us what is false and what is true. I believe most of what we hear or see in the news is either total fabrication, or else it is a clever mixture of truth and lies for the purpose to deceive the minds of its unsuspecting recipients. That is why we must test everything, because not everything which passes itself off as truth is really truth. This calls for much discernment. Yet, the truth can be discovered in many of these news stories, since the government-controlled media hides the truth inside, like a story within a story, which tells the truth of what is really happening in the outside story. And, the Lord Jesus would have me share some of these today, because they are signs that his coming is near. I read two news stories, which I will reference below, from which I will share the hidden story within.
Two Storms
In two previous writings I have already shared how this current US winter storm is named “Dion,” and how it followed on the tail of “Cleon,” and how I believe these winter storms are given purposeful names in order to tell the story of what is really going on in the USA and in the world. Dion, I believe, is short for Dionysus, who was a prefiguring of the antichrist yet to be revealed. The message is that the antichrist (New World Order Beast) is rising from the ashes of the old world order and that the US government’s leaders (Cleon), and their allies, have helped pave the way for its arrival, and that it is on its way. Also in this message was to be understood that the true storm issue at hand is not so much the snow and ice, but in reality it is the political storm that is moving its way across the USA and across the world, i.e. the New World Order Beast taking the world and our nation by storm, as in conquering with fury the governments and people of the world (See Rev. 13).
This news article was interestingly named, “From D.C. north to Maine, storms’ snow and ice bedevil into Tuesday.” That word “bedevil” really jumped out at me, as I felt it had a purposeful message tied up in that one word. It means “to be a continual source of problems or irritation to something or somebody” (Encarta), or to control, take or occupy as if with a devil. The word broke down for me in two ways: 1) Be-devil, and 2) Bed-evil. The first one is obvious in its meaning, as it was definitely indicating that this storm was of the devil himself, and that truly it is the devil who is conquering, controlling and occupying the world’s nations. The second breakdown of the word “bed-evil” means to sleep, settle down with or to have intimate relations with evil. This is saying that this storm (both literal and political) is not only of the devil, but it carries with it and it will produce a time known as the tribulation period in which the world will settle down with evil and will become intimate with evil via the mark of the beast. I believe that time is at the door (near at hand).
The story hidden underneath in both of these news stories is about the end of time, the rise of the beast of Revelation, the conquering of kingdoms, and the death of the old world order. Yet, what it will reveal or is already revealing is the corrupt, dishonorable, vile and immoral foundation of the US government, i.e. the devil himself and his influences in our government, our society and within the institutional church. This Satanic beast global order has been what lies beneath the US government pretty much all along the way. Yet now it has crawled out from underneath the government and it is frightening the people, governments and followers of Jesus Christ in the world with its threats, persecutions, takeovers, strikes, hits, etc. as it conquers kingdoms and is bringing the world underneath this one world order of government told about in the book of Revelation and elsewhere.
The “unexpected force” of this (political and global) “storm,” though being realized already in many nations within the world, will come as a HUGE surprise to probably the vast majority of Americans. The loss of power will not be electrical only but electoral, i.e. our elected officials will be gone and replaced with this global order. And, this is in the works.
Ukraine
The picture in Ukraine is much like what is going on in the whole world. The opposition to the government of Ukraine is the New World Order Beast, and it is what is storming (conquering) that kingdom, utilizing armed riot police and interior troops. What has happened and is happening to the nations throughout the world is soon to come to America, too. And, this will lead us into this time of tribulation. The same scenario described above under “Two Storms,” applies here, as well. The “interior troops” and the “riot police” combination being utilized within the nation of Ukraine will be used inside America, too, i.e. this is a picture of our own troops, in combination with New World Order troops (from without), being used against us in this global takeover of nations. At least in the USA, I know this is an “inside job” in cooperation with the international community. The “round-table” political discussion or the “budget deal” being worked out in our Congress are one and the same, really, for this is about the global order and the need of the governments of each nation to compromise by yielding control of their nations over to the beast.
This New World Order Beast (bringing in the time of tribulation soon) is on the hunt to capture all those who “duck” this control, which is why many are suffering disasters, uprisings, etc. Those who “duck” are all those who oppose this takeover of the beast or who stand in direct opposition, as a threat, to the rule of the beast. That is mainly who the New World Order beast is targeting, which includes those followers of Jesus Christ who proselytize the gospel and who hold fast to the testimony of Jesus. This beast (cockroach) means to frighten all opposition into submission, but many are resisting or are holding fast to their faith or to their positions of power and rule, which is why the devil has his guns aimed at them and is throwing his hard ball in order to convince the opposition to come over to the way of thinking of the beast. In other words, hardship, persecution, trials and tribulation are coming our way to hunt down and to try to persuade all opposing forces to the New World Order to bow to the beast and/or to punish us for non-compliance.
