Thank you so much for the welcome. Just earlier this month my eyes were opened and I have accepted the Lord into my heart. Its funny, he was always there through everything patiently waiting for me to turn around and notice him. God is so awesome!

I am sure I will have a ton of questions as I am going through my first read through of the Bible (NKJV) right now. But so far as long as I keep an open heart and mind its coming along alot easier than I thought it would be. Its just.... natural. That right there for me is proof enough in God's power and that the Bible is his true word.
 
Oh I understand why you guys go through the registration process. Alot of people out there for whatever reason feel the need to go onto sites like this and try to do damage. I know it was the case with some other sites I looked at. This set of forums though just seemed to be a good one - great people and would be a good stepping stone in my newly found faith.
 
Dan, I'm not usually very emotional about people I don't even know, but the Holy Spirit just hit me with an incredible joy for your salvation. I couldn't describe it if I tried.

I came to this forum a while ago when I was finally smartening up. It is so great, I pretty much grew up here spiritually, people here got to see me change. The people here Love the Lord and you'll get truth here. You should stay, through trials and all, you should stay here and fellowship with us.

It's so great to have you aboard brother. I might describe it as seeing a loved one reach shelter from a deadly storm, and I just want them to stay. God bless you.



 
Wow! God bless you all! Thank you so much for the warm welcome. I have never seen a community as welcoming as this one on the internet. Mark thanks for the videos. Just ordered the Newsboys cd off Amazon. Really good music.
 
Welcome to CF Site, Dan. Yes, people often say, "I found the Lord", and I always think, "I didn't know the Lord was lost and needed finding." Like the song says, "He was there all the time." He knocks and patiently waits for us to answer the door. Thank God you did. I answered that door on May 18, 1963.
