What Are Some Good Bible Studies To Go Through In Small Groups?

Hey guys...currently in my weekly small group, we are going through the workbook "Heaven" by Randy Alcorn but we are looking for new studies to go through after this one is completed.

We've previously gone through "Step By Step Through the Old Testament" and "Experiencing God" both of which are highly recommended. Any suggestions?

I know this sounds simple, but how about, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts, Romans etc., there should be enough to keep ya going to the Rapture. :)

I have found in teaching through the Bible we are "at" where we are "at" in the study and the group will grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Blessings,

Gene

I agree with Gene and would add Romans and Hebrews.

There are many online resources; some that are very Bible based, some not so much. Some free, some not so much. Use your discernment when choosing any one course. As mentioned above; if you already have a Bible-you really have all the material you need. I have a couple different versions, a parallel Bible, an 1869 Bible, some el cheapo-but effective Bible Software with the Greek & Hebrew.

The best tool I have is my Church family: for the hearing and the doing of the Word. We have a God fearing, educated, loving Pastor that is driven to reach out in the community for the cause of Christ. If we spend all our time learning, and no time doing-really what 'good' are we in the cause of Christ?

In my opinion, the best education you can get is to serve and be 'like' Christ. We are all so very far from that goal...
