I only use one version at home. But I can look up how many versions I had at one church library...
At school library I work in now we have these
Maori children's Bible (lions edition)
Samoan Bible (also lions)
Candle Bedtime Bible
Holy Bible (International Children's Bible- has a sheep on the cover)
The Beginner's Bible
Action Bible (both Old and New Testament, and a seperate New Testament)
Comic Book Bible
Unofficial Minecrafter's Bible
Bible Force The first Heroes Bible
The Action Story book Bible
A First Bible Storybook
Children's Illustrated Bible (I have to mend this one, the spine came loose, it was donated and very very old)
So that's about 12 different versions. I have a variety because of different reading levels for the six years that children are at school. This doesn't count all the Bible related picture books that maybe just have one or two stories in them.
I know when I was growing up I did not have any Bible and then I tried to read a full version (think it was Good News) but it was very daunting for me. It would have been easier if I had at least had some picture Bibles to help me get into it. Tackling 66 books when you are under 11 years old is a big ask.
