What caused the destruction of the Temple in 70 AD?

Show from the prophecy of Gods Word where the third temple would be built. There is no need as someone greater than the Temple has come and can forgive directly not through the Sacrifice of cows and sheep which were the type or shadow or representation of the antitype which was Christ. He has come and died to heal us from sin and cleanse us with His blood, so thus at His death on the cross the veil in the Temple was ripped from top to bottom as it was no longer needed to connect us to God for forgiveness of our sins. Now, there may not be specific prophecies concerning a 3rd Temple in Jerusalem but I would suggest we read 2 Thess. 2:1-4.....
"Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him (Rapture), That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first (Apostasy), and that man of sin be revealed, (A/C is revealed) the son of perdition;......
So according to the Scriptures, the man of sin/The Anti-Christ will be revealed after the Apostasy and the Rapture.......then the next verse says....

Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God."
