A tradition says that story tellers recited the stories in the Old Testament. The Old Testament itself must have provided material for entertainment.
The Bible mentions musical instruments and people singing and dancing. The Pslams must have been songs. Would the story of Tamar and her father in law be entertainment?
King David danced nude, but I think maybe they didn't sell tickets.
