When to wear wellies

Getting wet
Don’t just stand there

Getting a soaking,

Bemoaning you’re getting wet

When the storms of life hit you hard soaking you to the skin

Go to to wardrobe named

‘Gods Armour’ and take a look

Although wellies and sou’westers aren’t mentioned

I’m sure you’ll find something good

to protect you from the storms raging

and stop the water getting in!
 
I just clicked on this thread and laughed out loud! Its just simple and to the point when you need something quick and on the go.

This is the kind of free verse open mike kind of poem is just love to fit in my bag of tricks.
