Which Bible
I am a new Christian and am pondering over which Bible I should buy.
I have decided on the NIV version, mainly because this is the version that my church use and because it seems to be easier to understand.
I have been looking on the internet and found a Life Application Bible which gives historical context to each of the Books in the Bible, and gives a narrative to explain each passage in the bible. I know that there are other similar Bibles and some that are set out in Chronlogical Order.
Would I be better off with one of these Bible or just buy an "ordinary" Bible and buy Bible Study Notes to accompany it??
Confused!!
