Which branch of Dispy Theology are you currently part of now?

Is that because YOU do not accept his explaination of the Rapture that was intruduced by the Apostle Paul in Corth. and Thess. 2000 years ago?

The Schofield Bible is one of the most widely used and studied Bbibls in the history of the Church. What part do you object to".

About the only people I know of that reject the Schofield Bible is the Replacement Theologists and Covenant Theologians which are in fact the same thing with a different name.

Which one do you identify with?
I have used and respect that Scofield, but would say that sometimes those who advocate for it seem to place those study note on par with scriptures itself, but that happen nt just in Dispy circles, as I am a reformed Baptist, and while reading my Rc Sproul study bible at times cringe when reading notes on say validity of infanr baptism for example

I hear you but isn't the NIV study Bible the very same thing????

ALL "Study" Bibles have study notes for the individual Scriptures at the bottom of the pages. That is only for the purpose of understanding difficult passages and are not intended to be doctrinal.

IF...and when study notes infringe or insist upon doctrine, they begin the process of giving personal opinions which is ADDING to the Word of God.

I agree with you on this issue, as thing that way too many have had their primary theology based upon the study notes stated to them instead of the Bible, and do like how the Esv Study Bible clearly states in beginning that the big type words are the inspired scripture to us from God, while the smaller type notes are just opinions of fallible men as to what it means

Agreed.

Equally, I have seen some RBs treat the 1689 BCF as scripture itself and the Book of Concord for Lutherans as well. Denominational-minded people will hold on to their confessions come hell or high water.

I respect the 1689 Confession, but would agree sometimes those of us into Confessional Baptist theology tend to confess those 1689 as much or even more so thn the sacred scriptures
