Words You May Not Know In The KJV

Here is another verse which may help.

"Behold, as wild asses in the desert, go they forth to their work; rising betimes for a prey: the wilderness yieldeth food for them and for their children. (Job 24:5)"

"Neither is there any daysman betwixt us, that might lay his hand upon us both. (Job 9:33)"
nor is there... ANY.... BLANK.... between us.... TIME.... BREATH... SECRETS ...
WAIT ..... we must finish the sentence.

that might lay his hand upon us both.... CALAMATY.... EVIL.... POWER... TROUBLE.... POLICE. HA

I looked this up about a year ago when we were studying Job. I remember what it means so I am going to give others a chance to answer. Hint... it has nothing to do with the grocery store.
You had the chance.... BUT.... you were too NICE. :D

I'm gonna watch now.... LET the big boys play...... and I will keep score. :D

I hope I didn't cheat by reading verse 32 for context. A daysman is a go-between for settling cases.
You did not. You may read the larger context of the passage for help. Also, if the word occurs more than once in the KJV, you may check those as well. The key is the KJV and only the KJV may be used.

Fourth example:

"Israel hath sinned, and they have also transgressed my covenant which I commanded them: for they have even taken of the accursed thing, and have also stolen, and dissembled also, and they have put it even among their own stuff." (Joshua 7:11).

What does "dissembled" mean?
