Many years ago, a program existed, that allowed musicians to play together in band play, through MIDI, over an internet (LAN or WLAN; DSL or cable) connection.
Even on a 56k modem or ISDN connection, could one play together with band members.
The program required you a relatively powerful at the time pc (which nowadays could be a standard PC, or laptop), that had an ASIO driver for Windows, and an instrument of choice connected through USB.
One musician would have MIDI drums, another a MIDI keyboard, yet another played MIDI guitar, etc...
Highband internet allowed for vocals too.
I don't know if this program still exists, but wanted to know if there is any interest these days to use such a program, to enjoy fellowship worshiping our Lord?
