Jesus Back Soon

I am sorry if it came across that way. Let me ask you then to gain clarity. Are you fluent and educated in Hebrew?

Secondly, typing in caps is considered yelling. Let's just talk in calm peace please. Thank you, God bless.

Tony,

I feel like I need to apologize to you for the post earliar about your statement that "God created evil".

I have read it over a few times and it was out of character of me to be so brutally opinionated on your thoughts about the subject so I do apologize. to you for the hashness of the words I said.

I like everyone else have many problems to confront every day. I have always been a very passionate person.
I am passionate about My God, my family and and my country. I sould be as James tells us, in his book, chapter 1:17-18..."be swift to hear, slow to speak and slow to wrath".

It is just that at my age and the experiences I have had through this life, I can not in any way believe that God would intend evil on His children. Chatisement, YES, correction YES. But evil, no.

At the age of 4 years I opened the back door of my fathers car and fell out onto the highway and the doctors told my parents that I would not live. BUT God in His goodness had allowed the head nurse from the local hospital to be the car right behind my dads car and because of her actions, I did in fact live and now for about another 60 or so years.

I survived a plane crash at the age of 16.

I survived the combat of Vietnam and without a doubt should have died except by the grace and goodness of God.

If He was the author of evil, then He certainly would not be a good God that is worthy of worship and praise, much less trusted to have our well-being in mind. The idea of a good God creating His own enemy and the object of His wrath seems inconceivable. It would be inconsistent for a good God to mastermind the idea of evil, will it into existence, and still be considered a good God.
Rather, God created man in His image with the freedom to choose. With this freedom came the opportunity to rebel against Him. Man did rebel ( Genesis 3 ), and the rest is history. The annals of human history chronicle how God uses everything -- even the chaos of this world -- to bring about His glory and purposes. Those purposes include our growth in becoming more Christlike.

Heres hoping you understand.

Heres hoping you understand.

Thank you for your lovely post, it actually touched my heart and soul. And thank you for opening up to me and sharing your personal journeys and struggles. And I accept your apology and forgive you for what you said, just as I hope you forgive me for my words at times. Humans are emotional creatures, and it's going to happen at times we get emotionally involved in a topic. So I know where you are coming from, I hear ya. And remember, there is nothing you can say that will make me love you less or love you more than I already do. God's love flows through my heart as it does in your heart, that I can see.

Regarding Isaiah 45:7, let's try to look at it this way, God creates certain events that may seem bad or "evil", like the plagues, disease, earthquakes, cursing the ground, etc etc etc. And let's face it, sending nasty plagues that really hurt and kill people is not good or nice from a human's perspective! In fact, if humans created plagues and unleashed them onto certain people, we would call those people evil!

But we need to look at the reasons WHY God does this. And the motive, intent and reasons are pure, good, and has a purpose for good to help us repent and to guide us into the light.

A parent may punish their child, and from the child's perspective it may seem that their parents are committing "evil", but in the parents heart, it is for the good of their child and help redirect their behaviour to align with moral and proper conduct.

How's that sound to you? You comfortable with that? It comes down to what is God's intent and motives and reasons for doing it, and the answer is His goal and objective is for the eternal good.

good point. as a matter of fact... God's objective is for eternal good indeed and He loves all of us so let us praise him!:)

True. What seems as "evil" from humans viewpoint, understanding and perspective, can be for a greater good. You have heard of serendipity? Something terrible and bad and evil can occur, but through that evil event, something good came out of it, that could not have happened unless the terrible and evil event had have occurred first.

Suffice to say, God sends plagues and allows other "evil", but what is God's motives and intent and reasons for it? It's all for the eternal good, that humans cannot understand and comprehend with our limited awareness. So this is where faith/trust comes into it, even though we cannot understand why God is causing certain things to happen and/or allowing them to happen, we must keep trusting in Him that it's for everyone's eternal benefit.

Yes. Now why didnt you say that to begin with?? (Just kidding!!)
Thank you Tony and I do as well. I understand your thinking and I am convinced that God uses ALL things in a way that brings glory to Him.

The crucifixtion was an evil, horrible, bad and ugly thing was it not???
But God took such an awful event and turned it toward GOOD that in a bad situation, our salvation came to be. It looked bad, was bad but when looked at throughly it was good for us.
IMO, that does not mean God created the evil, but made good out of the situation which came from the sin of men.

...

Because I am a sinner and I am still growing every day and still learning how to effectively put my beliefs and ideas across in a more Christ like manner :)

By the way, your understanding and comments about Calvary was a great example of "evil" turning into the good for all. Father God pouring all the evil sins onto Jesus, an innocent Man, which made Jesus suffer and feel abandoned, and eventually kill Him, may seem like an evil thing to do, but was it? (rhetorical question)

P.S Major, does it seems that you and I are posting messages 99% of the time and everyone else 1% of the time? heheh ;)

People have believed the "season" is at hand for centuries. Jesus may come back this generation or in 100+ years, only Father God knows.
Israel recovered Jerusalem in 1967. Some living then will never die. The times of the Gentiles were fulfilled.

Luke 21:24 (NKJV)
24 And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

Luke 21:32 (NKJV)
32 Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all things take place.

Tis the season.

It is clear we are living in the days before the Rapture takes place. Let this advent season be a warning to everyone to forgive everyone and prepare their hearts for Christ's soon coming.
