Angels Among Us?

In January, 2012 I was in a different forum. Trying to figure out a video on something strange that happened in Israel January 28th, 2011. It was a bright luminary thing over the Temple Mount. This thing whatever it was video taped from different areas and they synced up with other videos which proves that it was real and not made up. I try to put things to scripture to see if it is true.

I know Jesus says in Revelation 1:20 says: 20The mystery of the seven stars which you saw in My right hand, and the seven golden lampstands: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands which you sawj are the seven churches.

Also in Matthew 2:9 says: 9When they heard the king, they departed; and behold, the star which they had seen in the East went before them, till it came and stood over where the young Child was.

Then in Luke 2:9-15 it talks about an angel of the Lord stood before them. Luke 2:9-15 says: 9And behold,b an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. 10Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. 11For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. 12And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.”
13And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying:
14“Glory to God in the highest,And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”c
15So it was, when the angels had gone away from them into heaven, that the shepherds said to one another, “Let us now go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has come to pass, which the Lord has made known to us.”

So my question is was this luminary in Israel the beginning of things to come? Could this of been an angel or COULD this be the LORD coming down from the clouds as it is spoken of in Revelation. I know that is a bit far fetched. It makes me wonder because strange things have been happening all over the world lately. Strange sounds like trumpets being blown, meteors falling to the earth. Another thing I find interesting is the President of the US real name is Barry Soetoro A.K.A. Barack Hussein Obama.

The interesting point of the name Barack is comes fromthe Hebrew word in Strongs hebrew dictionary says: 1300 baraq baw-rawk' from 'baraq' (1299); lightning; by analogy, a gleam; concretely, a flashing sword:--bright, glitter(-ing sword), lightning.

Hussein is an Arabic name which is the diminutive of Hassan, meaning "good", "handsome" or "beautiful".

Obama means "crooked," "zigzag," or "not in a straight line."

When you put all of this together you are describing a fallen angel of the Lord. Listen to the "Yes we can" speech they have a video of. They play it backwards. Things that make you go Hmmmm.

Goodf grief!!!!! The agenda is really getting old my friend!!!!!!

There are plenty of "Conspericy Forums" on the net............why not go there and ask about such tripe????

Well agendas aside, the answer to your questions is an emphatic 'NO'
Where is the prophetic foretelling?
If it was Jesus, He will come like a flash of lightning, and His appearing will be global.....that is scriptural....go with that.
As for obama meaning crooked, zigzag.....sounds like the perfect name for any politician anywhere.

Dont beleive anything you see on internet. If its the video I am thinking of, then its been proved to be an elaborate hoax.

FOC, sometimes certain people have a tendency to read/look into things a bit too much. I see you as that type of individual, and although that personality trait remains favorable in certain subjects like research, it is not best used in your relationship with God. Read the word, study it for yourself (like you have said you are doing) and if you have a question, try not to look it up on the internet. If you do, go to a more reputable site. Use judgement; if it screams conspiracy, it probably is one.

I would like to believe there are angels out there to protect us sent by God. When Jesus spent 40 days in the desert did not the angels attend to him. Only problem man has with angels is we must be careful not to worship them.

But Jesus daid that He would send ONE just like Him to comfort us and lead us into wisdom and love and that is the Holy Spirit.

IMO angels do not have an active earthly ministry today. It is the Holy Spirit that is here to protect us and He is sent by the Father and the Son.

Aside from the video of the lights in Israel on January 28th, 2011. I have a couple of questions? How are we to believe it is the Lord coming in the clouds when we aren't spiritually minded to believe everything is a hoax. Everything is not a hoax and can't be explained. I just don't see how something can be a hoak if there are several videos synced together from three or more different sources at three different locations. Maybe they want us to think it is a hoax. Who knows...??? We will find out one day.

How am I looking into the scripture too deep when I have scritpure to back up scripture?

Revelation shows us the event leading up to Christs return. We also know that most of the worlds population will continue with the deception of False Prophet and The Beast, Christ will be seen as the bad guy, however it will be clear as clear can be that this event will be real and people will not be left in doubt, Christ's return is a physical event.

I have experienced a number of so called supernatural experiences, but they are all things which could not really be caught on film. Why do you think that with all the paranormal and ghost hunters in the world they have not been able to come up with something conclusive that stands up to scrutiny? Same reason why Christians can not give the same 100% proof needed by some to Gods existence.

Paranormal and ghost hunters have come up with tons of evidence that would pass any form of scientific scrutiny.
The problem lies in that
1. people are intellectually dishonest, and will deny any evidence that frightens them or shakes up their world view
2. there is little evidence that cannot be faked, so regardless of the source evidence is considered to be fraudulent
3. there is an evil power that wishes to remain hidden, if evidence of it were to become common knowledge it would undue some of it's plans, so therefore the evidence is suppressed by those who serve it

Personally I do not believe there are ghosts floating around.

The mind can and does play tricks on us especially when we approach any subject with a pre-conceived agenda.

We all have been effected by the movies produced and books written which comes from the minds people who want you to think as they do.

I looked at the CBSnews page. I find it amazing if it is fact and they are covering it up to be a hoax. Seems everyone believes the news as fact when in fact it is a distortion of the truth. I don't take everything I see on certain sites that post videos as truth. I watch them over and over. Where two or three gather in a courtroom seperately questioned and come up with the same result then the truth is being told.

I just googled lights over Jerusalem 2011. They are all referring to a hoax. The first vid was from a mob called something like paranormal crazy.co.uk. something like that. FoC does it not strike you as odddddddd that someone would just happen to be on a high lookout video recording an otherwise completely uninteresting shot of Israel by night? Or do people in your world record hours of vid in the hopes of capturing something odd and weird? Why did you not post the url to the source of your comments?.......or did I miss it? Some hoaxes are more subtle than others, but a hoax is still a hoax. consider the material at http://www.christianforumsite.com/threads/what-is-in-this-photograph-something-amazing.33831/
Am I being unkind? Look at the last appearance date of the thread originator....consider the agenda.
