Did I Get Saved Yet?

Because they said that it's bad to love fictional characters, the demons were like "Enough, Pauline! Stop loving Severus Snape!"
Maybe that was God?
If you're too lazy to read the Word then you are too lazy to be a Christian. The whole Bible is gold so I'm not sure what you mean by "not find a thing."

No, it was not God, the demons were trying to destroy my romantic feelings as well by deluding me into thinking that I lost them. And I meant that if I have to read the Bible by like just reading instead of just looking for a thing.

God would very possibly try to "ruin" your romantic feelings.
If you are only looking for verses that relate to whatever you are interested you will miss most of the Bible. On top of that, the verses you do read will be taken out of context since you've never read anything around that verse. I don't know why some people fight this so hard. There are 260 chapters in the New Testament. Pick your Bible up and read three chapters a day, which is maybe ten minutes of reading, and you will be done with it in a 87 days. You can't give God ten minutes of your day for three months out of the year?

Has anyone else noticed whatever the hook to draw us in it is always about Severus? Severus is the fulcrum? The centerpiece and what is really important? Severus, Severus, Severus...no Polly, in my opinion you are not a child of God...His Spirit does not dwell in you...Severus is your god so go to him and see what he will do for you! Stop wasting our time...we try to help and guide but all you do is reject and bring the issue of your heart into the conversation (Severus). He is your treasure....

Don't you see brothers and sisters she is just a thorn to carry your thoughts away from Jesus and the work He would have us do...someone once said (I think it was Paul Bunyan) if the devil cannot make you sin he'll keep you busy...no matter how many threads Polly starts the real purpose is always to exalt and cause argument or debate over Severus (it will not change) until she repents from this idol worship....

But do I have to read the Bible again after I've read it?

And no, when I prayed to God, my romantic feelings actually came back.

It's not that Severus is my God, it's because I want to know things and I really hope that I can love anyone romantically... And not letting my romantic feelings disappear is not idolatry or bondage.

I have read the Bible three times since February last year and I'm about half way through the Old Testament on my fourth time through. You keep asking what you should do, or what God thinks on the forum. Why not read it for yourself and know it? If I could memorize the whole thing I would but I suck at memorization. That's why I have to look up everything.

I have been saying this for awhile now. When I bring it up I'm not showing love. She is in bondage to Harry Potter and Snape.

But what if the man what God sends me will appear in a dating site? Because it can take about 1789325762489635242369741 years to find the man what God sends just in real life and not like quickly in a dating site. Also, is it really also idolatry to be in a relationship with a man who God didn't send even if that man is born again Christian? And I still want someone like Severus, and not any guy with any looks and personalities. I don't want someone who is not chill or mysterious and who doesn't look like Severus at all. Ew.

If I get rid of the bondage, will my romantic feelings for Severus disappear from existence?

Also, I don't even want a Finnish or Nordic guy, but I feel like you think that God would send me a Finnish or a Nordic guy because I am Finnish.

I met my wife through the ChristianRock forum, but I wasn't looking for anyone to date. I don't think there is necessarily anything wrong with dating sites but there are weirdos on there. On top of that, if you're putting God first you shouldn't have to worry about finding someone. God will show you what to do when the time comes.

What do you mean by "bondage?" What is your bondage?

They think that my romantic feelings for Severus and my Potterheadness and fangirling are bondage. They're not. And even if I put God first, I still won't be happy as a single person.

But is being in a relationship with a man who is not sent by God idolatry even if that man is a born again Christian and both I and him put God above all?

How many times have you watched Harry Potter or read it? Do you watch it daily, weekly, or what?
I've read the first book 1 time, I am now reading the second one, I read the third one, and fourth one, and I will read the fifth book too after I read the second, and I won't read the 6th and 7th books because I am jealous about the Lily Evans thing and I don't want to read the thing what happens to Severus in the 7th book. And I watched the first, second, third, and fourth Harry Potter movies. I watched the first about 6 times, the second just 2 times, and third about 4 or 5 times.

Polly, reading the Bible should be like food. Food nourishes our body and the Word of God (bible) nourishes our spirit. I don't read the bible 24/7 but I do try to spend time reading it daily and listening to audio bible lessons when driving. Start reading the Bible and allow it to speak to your spirit.

I agree 100% Ceile De.

Deu 8:3 ESV And he humbled you and let you hunger and fed you with manna, which you did not know, nor did your fathers know, that he might make you know that man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD.
