Thinking Exercise: Is Christianity Right?

I'm going to be playing Devil's Advocate...in fact, I'll be taking on the role of an Agnostic and ask and argue against Christianity as being true. It's just a thinking exercise to review truth and why we believe it. To maybe push ourselves and even learn from each other excellent points. And above all, continue to seek truth even deeper.

I'll begin with a question:

Does God exist?

Yes!!

Romans 1:19
19* ¶ Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
20* For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

How do you know God is real?

It would be unwise to believe in something without "evidence" of it being "real"

11:1* ¶ Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

I agree. What evidence is there for the existence of God?
Every thing that exists declares his Glory, even our own conscience knows the difference between right and wrong. The law is written on our hearts. Refer back to Romans 1

Yes, the existence of natural laws demonstrates the existence of a Divine Creator, since laws cannot arise from chaos. Also, the fact that these laws are intelligible and even mathematical in nature demonstrates that the creator is a rational being.

But what if everything that exists exists without a cause? For instance, we earth exists, but how do we know it declares God's glory if there is no God? What if it just simply came into existence?

We know right from wrong. How do we justify right from wrong? How do we know God is the judge of these things?

Why refer to the Bible if the Bible was written by man? If there is no God, doesn't that mean the Bible is also wrong?

Couldn't man be the rational being? Why is it God? Couldn't natural law stem from our own humanity?

No, since I am referring myself to the laws that directed the creation of the universe and are still in operation, such as the law of gravitation and the laws of thermodynamics.

Because God has shown it to us! We would have to believe a lie to not believe! There is no such a thing as an unbeliever. A unbeliever is someone who knows the truth but has decided to not believe.
"Light has come but men loved darkness rather than light"

Romans 1:19 cause that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them

I see. Why couldn't something like gravity or thermodynamics, for instance, exist without a deity? Couldn't things in fact come into existence because of these things? Stephen Hawking even expressed recently how something came from nothing due to the natural law of gravity.

But I haven't seen it from God. Or perhaps I have, but I don't know. Why do we automatically believe it was God that showed us when it only presupposes?

Where did gravity come from? What exploded?
