I don't tell people they are going to hell. More jumping to conclusions, I see!
Oh, come on. It's really not that hard to search a screen with the words Euphemia and hellfire. See for yourself how often you've done it. Or is that God's judgment and not yours, which makes it OK?
People aren't cast into hell because of certain sins. They are condemned because of their position before God as unrighteous. That can only be overturned by being covered by the blood of Jesus.
Then you shouldn't have any problem letting God deal with it. You're off the hook - you don't have to proselytize anymore.
I certainly cannot speak for all Christians, but I can speak what God's word says about a matter...and that is what I do in obedience to Him.
And what do you do when you find yourself arguing with another Christian who is also quoting the identical scripture as you, but you're arriving at different understandings and conclusions?
Any church that doesn't make a stand for righteousness is a compromised church and not worthy. Homosexuals are more than welcome in our church, and they will hear the truth of God's word every time they come, and if there is no repentance but rather a resistance to the truth and a persistence in holding to their sin, all the while enjoying fellowship with us, then they will be corrected a number of times after which if there is no repentance and they will be asked to leave.
"Do it our way or hit the road." Real nice. How are you going to teach them not to be homosexuals anymore?
God is merciful and His mercy is great---new every morning, in fact! However, there is a time coming where God will set aside His mercy, and the universe will experience His unrestrained wrath. Don't be an ostrich about this fact.
I don't believe in the rapture, sorry. Lots of Christians don't.
No, they are not wrong, you have a DIFFERENCE OF OPINION. You think they're wrong and they think you're wrong. You are deadlocked.
I condemn no one. You are jumping to conclusions all over the place, aren't you? Now THAT"S a bad habit, mister!
I think it's pretty obvious you've been condemning pretty much since the start of our conversations, and you haven't stopped. Again, it's not hard to go back and reread your posts.
I repeat: NO one is saved by good behaviour, or living a moral life! No one is good! God says so---so please get that clearly.
Your argument is not with me, it's with the Catholic church, the Lutheran church, the Episcopalians, the Methodists...the list goes on. All of those churches do not believe in faith alone.
What do you mean, "people like you"??? You are wrong again in your judgmental comments.
People who say atheists hate God, which you did. Calm yourself.
