There We Shall See Him....

We are to follow in the footsteps of Jesus. As it was expedient for Him to “go away”, we must also “go away” from the churches of men who are living in divisions, envying, strife and hatred of one another. If we also “depart”, He will send the Comforter to us…..for they whom we shall leave behind shall persecute us for leaving them.

John 16:7-22 KJV
(7) Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
(8) And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
(9) Of sin, because they believe not on me;

We go out from one body to receive another body of believers in the world who shall be revealed in due time. When we go out, we shall be “alone” but eventually we shall see another body of believers come forth into the world for the world to see.

(10) Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;
(11) Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.

We must go out of our churches so that we may hear the things He has to say to us.

(12) I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.

When the Spirit of Truth is come, he will guide us into all truth. The Scriptures shall be opened unto our understanding as we grow in His knowledge.

(13) Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
(14) He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
(15) All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
(16) A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father.
(17) Then said some of his disciples among themselves, What is this that he saith unto us, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me: and, Because I go to the Father?
(18) They said therefore, What is this that he saith, A little while? we cannot tell what he saith.
(19) Now Jesus knew that they were desirous to ask him, and said unto them, Do ye enquire among yourselves of that I said, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me?

When we depart from the churches, we shall be distressed by their evil persecutions. They shall rejoice in their unrighteousness and we shall be sorrowful. But our sorrow shall turn into joy as we shall see the “birth” of a completely new body of believers come forth in the WORLD. We are to go out from among our churches and into the world to await this new birth of believers. We shall no longer be alone in our journey but shall have a new body of believers….the brotherhood of believers.

(20) Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.
(21) A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.
(22) And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.

We are to go out to Him into “Galilee”…which means the “circle of nations”….that is, the outside world. He will not be found in the churches of men….the graves of religious-sounding men…but He will be found in “Galilee”….outside their churches where we shall be built into a spiritual house apart from them.

Mark 14:28 KJV
(28) But after that I am risen, I will go before you into Galilee.

We are to go quickly from the graves of men who do not preach that He is truly risen. He is alive NOW not dead and we are also to be alive NOW. We don’t “die and go to heaven” to have His life….for His life is a NOW thing in the here and now. He was dead and is RISEN now. He is alive NOW. His body (we are His body) has been lying in the grave of the rich pastor who hasn’t fed the sheep but only himself.

Matthew 28:5-10 KJV
(5) And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.
(6) He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

He goes before us into “Galilee”…the circle of the nations…and there we shall see Him as other brothers shall also depart from the graves of religious-sounding men and into the world where we shall be built into a continuing city.

(7) And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.

(8) And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.

(9) And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.

(10) Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me.

We are to lose our lives to save them as we are to count all of our fathers’ religious transmissions (traditions) as a loss for the excellency of the knowledge of our Lord. We are not redeemed by their teachings and commandments which don’t save anyone for no flesh is being saved by their things.

Galatians 1:13-15 KJV

(13) For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it:
(14) And profited in the Jews' religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers.

We are called out (the ecclesia) by His grace and we are to be separated from them.

(15) But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace,

We are called out so that His Son can be revealed in us and we might preach Him among the nations of the world. We must separate from ALL of men’s religions that they have set up as tombs and the handwriting of ordinances that keep us in them. We are to arise from the "dead" and depart from the graves of religious-sounding men.

16 To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:

We are to come out from among them and go forth into the world. We are to pass the time “sojourning” in the world in fear. We are to be “strangers” in the world. We are not redeemed by the corruptible things we have received by tradition from our church “fathers”. Their things do not save the flesh of anyone. We are to go out and sojourn in the world without returning to their dead teachings and commandments.

1 Peter 1:17-20 KJV

(17) And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:
(18) Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
(19) But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
20) Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,

Yet, the false witnesses will come forth as they did with Stephen. “This man ceases not to speak against this holy place and the law”. They will seek to defend their church denominations and their doctrines and commandments….their customs which were delivered to them by their fathers.

Acts 6:13-14 KJV

(13) And set up false witnesses, which said, This man ceaseth not to speak blasphemous words against this holy place, and the law:
(14) For we have heard him say, that this Jesus of Nazareth shall destroy this place, and shall change the customs which Moses delivered us.

Are these things so?

Abraham was called out of his “country” and from his own “kindred” and was to come into the land which God would show him. Abraham did not sit still in his "country" in unbelief but went out in faith not knowing where he was going.

Acts 7:1-4 KJV

(1) Then said the high priest, Are these things so?
(2) And he said, Men, brethren, and fathers, hearken; The God of glory appeared unto our father Abraham, when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Charran,
(3) And said unto him, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and come into the land which I shall shew thee.
(4) Then came he out of the land of the Chaldaeans, and dwelt in Charran: and from thence, when his father was dead, he removed him into this land, wherein ye now dwell.

We also are called out by His grace. We are to “get out” of our denominations and from our “kindred” and go out into the world. We shall receive the promises made to Abraham. ALL of the families of the earth shall be blessed in us. Abraham did not stumble around in unbelief but had faith in God and did what He commanded.

Genesis 12:1-3 KJV
(1) Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:
(2) And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
(3) And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

We have a commandment: ARISE, LET US GO HENCE so that the world may know that we love the Father.

John 14:30-31 KJV

(30) Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.
(31) But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.

Jesus does not pray that we are to be taken out of the world but that we should keep us from the evil of the world.

John 17:15-23 KJV

(15) I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
(16) They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
(17) Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

He sends us INTO the world. Arise, let us go from hence…..from our church denominations and the doctrines and commandments of men and go out into the world.

(18) As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.
(19) And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.
(20) Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;

We are to be ONE body of believers in the world so that the world may believe that the Father has sent the Lord.

(21) That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
(22) And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
(23) I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

By faith did Abraham “WENT OUT”. He obeyed God not knowing where he went. By faith, we are to leave our “country” and our “kindred”….our churches….behind and “sojourn” in the land of promise as in a strange land. We are to inherit this earth. We are to be built by God into a city….a city that the world will see.

Hebrews 11:8-10 KJV

(8) By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.
(9) By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:
(10) For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

We are the Light of the WORLD….a city that is set on a hill cannot be hid. The denominations of men are not the light of the world. The world blasphemes the word because of the preaching for money. They see the envy and strife and hatred of one another in the denominations of men. We are to come out from among them and be separate….and He will build us into that continuing city for the world to see.

Matthew 5:14-16 KJV

(14) Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

(15) Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

(16) Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Unfortunately, EVERY church is filled with Sinners..... and Me going to that church does not make it an exception....

The old saw "If you find the Perfect Church - where no sinners reside - RUN!" is still true as it was in the past.....

We will encounter 3 types of people.....
1. Unbelievers - they are totally sold out to the World... but generally can't perceive it.....
2. Christians who are NOT overcoming - Since we are saved BEFORE we Repent of our sins, by the Grace of God alone.... we MUST expect to meet Christians who are not overcoming..... Of course, WE want to fix this.... but we have to allow God to work..... God works on HIS timeline - not yours.....
3. Christians who ARE overcoming - Since this is ALWAYS in the Present tense... Overcoming... it also means that NO Christian is perfect YET....

If we forsake the Church because it's full of Sinners - we end up forsaking our opportunity to be helped and encouraged by Brothers...... We also forsake our opportunity to HELP fellow and encourage brothers..... Who knows... You may be sent to that church to help out a fellow brother to learn how to start overcoming.... You may be sent to that church to learn HOW to start overcoming yourself.....

So.... Don't go to a church you really don't enjoy UNLESS you totally feel lead by God to go there....... But... Not going to church is dangerous because we NEED fellowship.... and the Internet is not the same thing.

Thanks

because we NEED fellowship.... and the Internet is not the same thing.

Poppycock!

The internet is filled with real human beings just like a building would have.

To say that the internet is not yet another tool for fellowship means to discount TV, radio and print.

We need to stop thinking like these people are bits of data and see them as feeling, caring flesh and blood.

Not so! The inter-net can be and is used for gathering information and teaching as it may be, but not fellowship. The real difference is that in a real church we can look people in the eye and openly discuss matters. With the internet, people hide behind a computer monitor and write things in cyber-space that they would never say to someone in person.

Take for example some of the ridiculous and anti-Semitic things you have posted here. You would never have said those things out loud in a gathering of people.

Know why????

Someone would hand you your hat with your head still in it. I guarantee it!

Because I have learned quickly to love our young people here, I have often thought: How do people know I am who I claim I am? I claim to be a believing 65-yr-old wife, mother, grandma who weighs 123 lbs, has dyed red hair, etc. How does anyone know I am not a 350 pound 36-yr-old balding, Israel-hating male who has a police record 3 feet long, who is being run out of my neighborhood for unspeakable crimes! We should be very careful.

And that is why I have always had my picture as my avatar. What you see is what you get with me!

And I don't care what you say, you do not sound one day older than 55 to me!

I dunno - I think one can feel fellowship here, too. As for me, I'm here to learn and understand and there is something that appeals to me about fellowship of words and thoughts, outside who is young/old, pretty/plain, big/small - whatever. Besides, where else can you talk about God to your heart's content? Even in church - you can't do that while the sermon is in progress.

And that is why I have always had my picture as my avatar. What you see is what you get with me!

Lovin' it!! :D
I once had my photo here, but sources outside of CFS advised me to take it down, when I felt like I had caused (or could cause) a problem.

Hey -- there's a bee in my avatar. If you look closely, it's wearing a tiny crown. That's me -- Queen Bee! :D

See, theres the difference between us. At my age I really do not care if I cause a problem or not. In fact it is kind of fun to cause a problem cause I can not do much of anything else!

You've ruined it ALL for me! I thought you were younger than me!

Hi JohnC, thank you for your response my brother.

Indeed, every church has sinners….this is why we must separate from their company so that God may build us into a perfect, complete, ONE “church” who will see eye to eye and keep the bond of peace with each other. The “144,00” will be that perfect group of people who are redeemed from among their churches who will stand upon “mount Zion” with the Lamb.

I once went to a church (for 18 years) where we were the only “right” church and all the others were wrong. We did not have a musical instrument in the church and this was the main “ordinance” used for judging others in others churches who did even to the point that others were going to “hell” for having and using a musical instrument in their church worship.

ALL churches judge other churches over their beliefs, doctrines and commandments that their church “fathers” have formed out of their covetousness….which is the abomination of desolation. If we are judging each other in our envy, strife and divisions, then we are not doing the law of Christ which is to have love for one another. We are “carnal” if there is envy, strife and divisions among us and we can not understand the Scriptures because of this. He can not speak unto us as spiritual but as carnal. We only hear parables and not the spiritual Truth behind them.

We MUST depart….just as Abraham departed from his “country” and his “kindred” ….just as Lot departed from Sodom….just as the children of Israel departed from Egypt into the wilderness and stayed in booths…..just as the Spirit led Jesus into the desert after He came up out of the “water”.

We shall be persecuted….tested…in the “wilderness” by those we leave behind but we are to rest assured that others in that “brotherhood” shall suffer from the same persecutions as they will depart. We are not to render evil for their evil but be faithful to have love for one another at all times.

We shall not see Him but after a little while we will…..as we shall leave one body and eventually see another body of believers “born” into the world of which we shall be a part of. This will be something new….and will not be taking place in any denomination. It shall arise in the world….just as it was said of Jesus of “Galilee”….the “circle of nations.” A “prophet” shall arise in the “circle of nations”…. “Galilee”.

There is a “cost” ….we must leave our churches behind and follow Him.

KJV

(25) And there went great multitudes with him: and he turned, and said unto them,

(26) If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.

(27) And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.

And again, we that will leave to follow Him shall receive 100 percent of what we leave behind. We are to leave our "house"...our church. We shall eventually receive other brothers and sisters who will all see eye to eye….getting along perfectly in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. this will take time but it will happen. I think that the internet is a great place to seek out others.

KJV

(28) Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee.

(29) And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's,

(30) But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.
