That has never been in question however that does not answer the question of when did those dinosaurs walk on the earth whose bones have been dug up?
Actually, and realistically, we are debating something where there is no debating the fact, Dinosaurs once roamed the earth, there are fossils to prove it which are found to this day. The better question would be, when did Dinosaurs roam the earth?
YOU as an YEB are saying that they lived with and walked with Adam and Eve. Science, geography, and anthropology tells us, Dinosaurs roamed the earth millions of years ago, making the earth very old.
Of course, this clashes with mainstream Christianity that teaches the “young earth doctrine”, which states the earth is only 6,000 years old maybe a stretch to 10,000 Even going so far as to say the Dinosaurs lived at the time of Adam and Eve, but is that belief Biblical?

The Bible offers zero evidence to support the idea that Dinosaurs lived with Adam and Eve. This theory is quite literally made out of thin air.

Due to the “young earth doctrine,” young earth Bible teachers are forced to place all of Creation and world history into a 6,000-year window which does not fit. In other words, the idea of dinosaurs living with Adam and Eve is the product od making the Scriptures say something that is not there so as to to confirm a teaching which is not Biblical. IT MAY BE LOGICAL but it is not Biblical.
This concept without Biblical support is drilled into the minds of Christians. It was forced into me 50 years ago and I have always struggled with it. I visited the Ark Encounter and I saw first-hand experience of this at that exhibit, which is a tourist attraction featuring a replica of Noah’s Ark located in Kentucky. The concept of Dinosaurs roaming the earth with Adam and Eve was overwhelming despite no Biblical evidence for such a belief.
Since there is no Biblical basis, young earth teachers simply invented; movies, sounds, replicas, and pictures to fit their beliefs. They even placed Bible verses on the pictures in order to deceive their audience into accepting this theory. I say “deceive” as there is no other word to use that properly explains what is occurring within mainstream Christianity.
Now if you and everyone else is comfortable believing that those animals lived along side Adam and Eve and there fossilized bones are only 6000 years old...then Praise the Lord! I am happy at your choice.
Of course one might want to ask why so many Dinasaur bones have been found and not one single Bible character or person from the same peroid of time.

We see in Gen 1: 21 flying creatures such as the pterodactyl were created
we see in Gen 1: 22 that land animals such as the t-rex and other (beasts) of the land were created.
Now you can make science fit the bible. or you can try to make the bible fit science,
I chose to make science fit the bible, and it fits perfectly, if you do not read things into it to make it appear that it does not agree.
we also see in vs 26 God created mankind on the same day he created all land and sea life (oxygen breathers) according each to its KIND (specie)
we know many plant species do not exist today. we know the same about sea and land specie. as they have died off.
But we know they were all created on day 6 of creation. And thats all we need to know..
we know in gen 1:9 God moved the waters and the land appeared. We also know at that time, there was no life on earth. There was no dinos. no different specie of mankind, no fossils. no anything, Just land and water and the light.
to read anything else into the creation account is in my view, just to add things that are not there.. Lets stick to the fact.

each day (morning and evening) was one literal day. one morning and one evening (God rested on the 7th day and told mankind, as he rested on that day, we should rest also. proving it is a DAY, not a billion days)

You are reading into the Scriptures what YOU want them to say.
I do not agree with this assessment for one. I have seen proof otherwise. I read an article years ago which disproved this thinking. I have also seen where dino prints and human footprints were in the same place.
I am not reading anything, I am just reading what the scripture plainly says.

If you are talking about the footprints in Texas, those have been proven to belong to the same dino that left the other prints. Some kind of flying dino, I am not good with their names. Most theologians no longer refer to these prints as evidence. I would be interested in the article you mentioned if you can remember where to find it ( I am terrible for forgetting where I found something). I know we have different views on this as I am an old earth believer, but I do enjoy these conversations. The 6,000 to 10,000 years is based on the work of James Usher, this is a debate that goes back for many many years. We must remember that this conversation must be kept in love and respect for each other. I agree that we could both say that the other is making the bible say what we want it to say. I think it difficult to justify the young earth ideals with Romans 1:20 where God says that men are without excuse based on nature. If nature is showing itself to be old and we insist it is not we create a discord. Nature and the bible do in fact agree. God bless you.
I do not remember what article, video or interview I saw it on. that was far too long ago. In fact, even after I view the article. I still believed in the "gap theory" and old earth.
Once again. I base my premise on the fact God created the earth to be inhabited by the creatures and plants that he created on the 6 days of creation.
It begs to difference that one of two things happened. (if this is the reason why the earth was created. which I see the bible shows this to be true)
1. It took billions of years for creation to adapt itself in a way to support life (old earth theory)
2. God created the earth to be inhabited in 6 days as he said (ie, the starts shown their lights on the earth the DAY they were created. why? Because that was the purpose for which they were made (young earth)
I also feel all the things we see, including the fossil record, the formation of land masses and sediment, The grand canyon, and everything we see in nature is answered by the catastrophic flood of noah.

How did the flood effect the rest of the cosmos? How do we get evening and morning for the first 3 days? I used to be a young earth guy and I admit there are problems with both theories, but, I think the old earth view has fewer problems. One more question... Why would God need a flood to cause the Grand Canyon?

The fathers used the stars as signs to help them determine seasons, and days and years. Just as God designed them to. If God created them for this purpose. Then why does the flood need to help them fulfill their purpose? And why does God need millions of years to get them to do wat they were designed to do?

Why did the flood have to cause te Grand Canyon? Who said it had to? The evidence supports the fact that it did however. The mini Grand Canyon caused by the explosion of Mt Saint Hellens helps support this theory as it was created in a manner of days not billions of years as some propose the Grand Canyon was formed. And its not the only evidence. There is much evidence which supports this.
I used to have an issue with young earth. Until I visited the creation museum in southern Ohio, and purchased some books from some christian scientists how the affects of the flood appeared answered so many of the questions that I had had for years. And finally read a book about the hydroplate theory. I am not asking anyone to change their view. Its not a major doctrine which is salvic. Just suggesting that maybe wat the church as held for years as old earth may be wrong. (My own church does not agree with me, not that it matters, again, its not salvic. We will find out one day wen we meet God)
The cosmos shows it is old, as for the grand canyon it is because you keep saying the flood caused it and you asked what was the light that God created when he said let there be light. As I said there are problems with both theories. I am surprised that you have not mentioned O.O.P. art. as for OOP not sure what that even is. Like I said, i went to a museum, Read a book on Genesis flood. The earths catastrophic past. And the hydroplate theories. As well as some other smaller known sources which. Can not remember. Those are what changed my view

Please understand.......All involved in this discussion, I personally have not one single proof of what I think and have posted. I am only sharing my deepest personal thoughts on whether the Creation is very old or very young. NO ONE KNOWS and it is absolutly nothing to be argued about....or be defensive over or to ask any personal questions about ones faith.
It is not an essential of the Christian faith and is only a discussion.

I am not in any way suggesting that God did not Create the earth just as the Bible says He did.
All I am asking is.....could there have been a Pre-Adamic creation ?
2Pet3:8 says ‘is as’ ( a simile) not ‘is’.
A pre-Adamic creation would contradict the Bible.
