REVELATION 6:6.......
“And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.”

Famine follows War!

This is a picture of the bare minimum available.

This seems to have been the proportion of value between the wheat and the barley. Barley was allowed to afford a poor aliment, and was given to the Roman soldiers instead of wheat, by way of punishment.

The common people suffer most, for the rich can afford more expensive foods that are not yet affected = OIL and WINE!

Time frame is still the 1st half of the 7 year Tribulation Period.
 
REVELATION 6:7
"And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.
8. And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth."

"Pale" is the color John sees because it follows death.

When someone is sick, they become pale and their color changes.

The Greek word here for "Pale" is CHLOROS which is the root for "Chlorophyll" = Yellow/green.
It is the very image of death.

"A forth part of the earth" in the Greek is the word "ge" hence our word "Geology. and can mean that 25 % of the population is slain OR that 25 % of the earth's regions will be affected.

In either case it is seen that man has refused God and now God unleashes his judgment on man .

So what we have in the 4th Horseman is the results of the 1st 3 Horsemen.

Thus these swift four horsemen of the Apocalypse now continue to ride all during the rest of the Tribulation Period.

The generation of the 2nd World War saw wholesale death of humanity. A conservative estimate is that 75 million people died. Another conservative guess is that at least 16 million Jews were exterminated because they were Jews.

If we use the same basis and compare it to today's population we are looking at about 2 billion with a "B"!

Now then........there are 3 deaths =
1. Physical. This is the body. It happens because of Adams sin.
2. Spiritual. This is separation from God. It also comes from Adam as we inherit his nature.
3. Eternal. This is the end death of Rev. 20:14
 
REVELATION 6:9...........
"And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held."

With the opening of the 5th Seal, we see the souls under the Alter in heaven that have been martyred.

What is the lesson to be learned here?

It is after the wars and disturbances of the 1st four Seals, people are going to blame God and those who worship Him for all these worldly problems. It is not the A/C who is blamed ---but GOD!

Remember now, if I am correct, those who blame God are those who REJECT God but now they will blame Him even though they do not believe that there is a God. That is the definition of IRONIC as well as dumb!

Now, think ahead in the future with the knowledge that YOU have now.

Can you not grasp the fact that those people then will be convinced that if they can just get rid of those religouse nut cases who came to Christ after the Rapture, the world would be a better place to live in. They will view those who refuse the Mark of the A/C as trouble makers and anarchists and THEY are the ones who are holding back peace.

Can you not see how a campaign by the A/C to round up all the Christians and kill them who refuse to worship him and take his Mark?
Does all of that sound like a fairy tale and a script for a movie. May I tell you that what I just said is HISTORICAL FACTS.

That is exactly what a man name HITLER and Nazi Germany did in WW2 with the Jews, killing 10 million! They were rounded up and made to wear a Star of David. Men in this coming day will probably be made to wear a CROSS.
 
REVELATION 6:10...........
"And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?"

These "THEY' are Old Test. Saints.

Luke 11:50-51.........
" So that the blood of all the prophets, shed from the foundation of the world, may be charged against this generation, 51 from the blood of Abel to the blood of Zechariah, who perished between the altar and the sanctuary. Yes, I tell you, it will be required of this generation."

Revelation 6:11...................
"And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled."

In response to the martyrs' question about how long it would be before God avenged their shed blood, God gave each of them a white robe and told them to rest a little longer. God would delay His vengeance until the number of future martyrs was complete. When will vengeance take place? Revelation 19:11–15 makes it clear that it will occur when Jesus returns to earth in a blaze of glory.

This means that the Tribulation saints are to be included with the Old Test. saints in the 2nd Resurrection.
 
REVELATION 6:12.........
"And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood".

Hal Lindsey I think was the 1st to promote the idea that this verse is a description of modern, nuclear warfare in his book..."The Late Great Planet Earth" and it very well may be.
Being an Army veteran, I can testify that all the things mentioned in this Scripture are indicative of a war related event.

John said a great shaking occurred, a total eclipse of the sun took place, and the moon turned bloodlike.

Since the description of the four horsemen in Revelation 6:1–11 seems more of a metaphor than a prediction of four actual riders, some think this verse represents political, civil, and social chaos.

On the other hand, there are reasons to take John's vision here as a description of literal events, or at least as a reference to actual natural disasters. A horrendous shaking can occur and cause colossal earthquakes and extensive damage-causing tsunamis. Total eclipses of the sun occur regularly, though they're not always easily-visible for most people on earth. Certain natural disasters can cause clouds of dust to block out the sun's light from large regions. Similar conditions might cause the moon to appear various colors, including a bloody red. It is not hard to imagine the panic these events might cause, especially if they occur in close proximity to each other.

In addition, a more-literal interpretation of this particular passage seems to match the words of Jesus. In his Olivet Discourse, Jesus predicted the tribulation calamities that occur when the Lamb opens the seals. He said in Matthew 24:7-9 & 29. .........
"Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places…
"Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death…
"Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light."

Do the events in Rev. that transpire under the sixth seal seem to echo Jesus' words to YOU???????
 
REVELATION 6:13..........
"And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind."

Joel 30-31 predicts...........
"And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.
The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord come."

"Stars of heaven fell".......
The word "stars" can refer to any celestial body, large or small, and is not limited to normal English usage. The best explanation is a massive asteroid or meteor shower.

Again, some Bible commentators have theorized that these "STARS" are lights and flames from falling intercontinental missiles.

"Untimely figs": Winter figs that grow without the protection of leaves and are easily blown from the tree.

The fig tree (physical Israel), rejected Jesus and His Holy Spirit. In (Acts chapter 2), we read of the sound as of the rushing mighty wind that came and filled them with the Holy Ghost.

This mighty wind is of God. Many times, when we read of the mighty wind, it is a sign of the Holy Spirit of God. The Holy Spirit can be beautiful, as we read (in Acts 2), or frightening to those who do not believe.

The Old Testament and the New Testament agree that there will be a time when the heavens will be shaken. (Isaiah chapters 7, 13, 17, Matthew 24), and at least a dozen more chapters in the Old and New Testaments agree that there will be a day, just as this one spoken of that John saw, when the heavens will be shaken.

We read also, of the spiritual shaking that will take place. We read that there shall be a great falling away in the church right before this occurs.

2 Thessalonians 2:3......
"Let no man deceive you by any means: for [that day shall not come], except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;"

As you can see, believers will be tried, and many will fall away. (In Luke chapter 21:16), we read about those who will be betrayed by those of their own household and friends.

We read again of the commotion in heaven:

Luke 21:25-26.......
"And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;" "Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken."

You can easily see that this is prophesied, not just of John, but by dozens of pens throughout the Bible.
 
REVELATION 6:14............
" And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places."

The sky convulsed like a scroll being rolled up. The exact implication John is making here is hard to visualize. John uses the Greek word hōs, which is used for comparisons, often translated "as it were," or "like." So John is not implying that the air itself is literally being "split apart," as if the atmosphere was being removed.

Again, those like Brother Lindsey and Stone believe that this is a picture of what happens when a Nuclear explosion takes place.
Actually they are correct. This IS WHAT HAPPENS. The splitting of the atoms in a nuclear explosion splits the atmosphere much like a bolt of lighting and the coming back together is the thunder or sound or shock wave.

The earlier references to falling stars and eclipses are important to consider. Most likely, this somehow involves a blocking or cluttering of the sky, including the ability to see objects like the sun, moon, and stars. Then again, certain natural disasters can cause massive shockwaves of moving air and wind: the sky being "split apart."

Seeing clouds racing due to storms, hurricanes, or pressure waves might fit this description as well.

That possibility coordinates with the description of each mountain and island being "removed from its place." Earthquakes, tsunamis, and volcanic eruptions are consistent with the idea of shaking, blocking of the sky, and even the disruption of the sky and weather patterns.
 
REVELATION 6:15-17.............
"And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains".
And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?"

TODAY, there are those who pray to rocks and trees and frogs.

In this day in these verse, men call on rocks and mountains to hide them. They want to hide from the LAMB of God.

The "Wrath of God" is a PARADOXIAL phrase. That is a college term that is spoken of all the way through the Old Test. prophets, a day that is coming upon the earth and is still in our future. A PARADOX is a proposition which is contrary to a perceived opinion or better said....who in the world would ever think that a "Lamb" could bring forth wrath on the world.

Another example of a PARADOX is that the closer you get to the sun, the hotter you get. Really?????
Climb to the top of Mt. Everest and tell me how hot you are!!!!!!

Have you ever seen a sign saying..........'BEWRE OF THE LAMB INSIDE"???? NO YOU HAVE NOT.
But you have seen the sign saying........"BEWARE OF THE PIT BULL INSIDE!
 
CHAPTER 7
"A multitude us Saved During the Tribulation."

The seventh chapter of Revelation is parenthetical. One of the clues of understanding the Revelation is to know what "Parenthectical" means. It means that there is an aside view that explains concurrent events taking place during the specified time frame.

To understand the book of Revelation, one must be aware of seven "parenthesis" throughout the book of Revelation. Chapter seven is the first of these parenthesis, and will be coming between the sixth and the seventh seals and reveals other things that are happening during this period of time. They are:
(1) The ministry of the 144,000 (Revelation 7:1-8)
(2) A multitude, saved during the Tribulation Period (Revelation 7:9-17).

7:1..........
"And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree."

These four angels of Revelation 7:1 are given power to hurt the earth and the sea and the trees.
Just as it is used today, the phrase "four corners of the earth" is not meant to suggest the earth is literally square. It means the angels had taken up positions at the points of the compass. They stood at the north, south, east, and west. They exercised authority to hold back the four winds.

Wind patterns affect the climate.

The four winds represent God's judgment. In His pledge to destroy Elam—another name for Persia—God said in Jere. 49:36........
"I will bring upon Elam the four winds from the four quarters of heaven. And I will scatter them to all those winds, and there shall be no nation to which those driven out of Elam shall not come".

Like John, Daniel also saw in a vision the four winds of heaven. He states in Daniel 7:2 that they were "stirring up the great sea," which IMO meant the Mediterranean Sea. During the four angels' delay of judgment no wind would arise to shake a tree.

However, before these judgments are fulfilled, there is the "sealing of the 144,000 Jews."
 
REVELATION 7:2............
"And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea".

The time frame here is still the 1st half of the 7 year Tribulation period.

"Another Angel" = the 5th angel. He is apparently of a higher "rank" than the 1st four as he gives them orders.

"He cried with a loud voice" = The frightful and fearful judgments are about to break upon the earth so it is necessary to SEAL/SECURE the servants of God.

"Sealing" means that they will be preserved in this coming day of Gods wrath.

Matthew 24:21-22 confirms this idea when when read what God said..........
" For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be. 22 And if those days had not been cut short, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short."
 
REVELATION 7:3..........
"Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads."

There are three (3) seals in the New Testament :
1. The believer is sealed with the Holy Spirit at the moment of salvation.
2. The 144, K servants of God are sealed by an angel in the foreheads.
3. The wicked lost who refuse Christ accept the A/C and are sealed with the Mark of the Beast.

These servants are "Sealed" near the beginning of the Tribulation Period because the angels are not aloowed to unleash any judgments until this "sealing" is completed.

Now the question is.......If we accept the Rapture removes the believers and therefor the Holy Spirit who indwells the believers leaves also, then how do these people get saved without the conviction of the Holy Spirit?
1. Through the preaching of the Two ( 2 ) witnesses in chapter 11.
2. The same way God called and saved the saints in the Old Testament.

In John's day, slaveowners sometimes marked their slaves, even on the forehead, to indicate ownership and protect them from kidnapping. In Ezekiel 9:3–4............
"And the glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house. And he called to the man clothed with linen, which had the writer's inkhorn by his side;
4 And the Lord said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof."

That Scripture tells us about a man with a writing case who was commanded to pass through Jerusalem and put a mark on the forehead of every person who lamented the abominations that were committed there.

The seal of God stands in contrast to those who will take such a "mark" from Satan in the end times, a concept seen later in Revelation. The servants of God will refuse this "mark of the beast." Whether or not all saved believers in the tribulation will have this special "sealing" of God is not entirely clear, but it seems likely hence the explanation we see in verse #3.
 
REVELATION 7:4...........
“And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.”

This means that all of these men are JEWS. They are ALL MEN! Allow me to be very, very clear........
THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE JEHOVAH WITNESSES or any other religious organization or belief!

In Bible numerology.........the number 12 represents "Divine authority".

12 Disciples
12 Apostles
12 Princes
12 Tribes
12 Stars
12 Angels
12 Judges
12 wells of water
12 Spies sent by Moses
12 Months in a year
12 Stones used by Elijah to build an alster.

The religious groups that claim that they are the 144 K this verse speaks of are all trying to do away with Israel and the Jews and insert themselves as God's chosen people. Instead of reading the Word of God and accepting it as it is written, they "spiritualize" it to make it mean what they what it to say.

These 144 K will fulfill Joel 2:28-32..........
"And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.
30 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.
31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord come.
32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call."

Joel 2 is NOT what is seen in Acts 2 when the Holy Spirit came in indwell believers.

Certain religious believers today force Acts 2 to be Joel 2 so that that can speak in tongues and see visions and have a word of knowledge and claim that what they are doing is what God said would take place, but they misapply Joel to Acts 2 when it is fulfilled in Revelation 7.

That comes down to making the Bible say what we want it to say so we make it do just that.
 
REVELATION 7:5
'Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand.
6 Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nephthalim were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand.
7 Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand.
8 Of the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand."

Revelation 7:5–8 lists the tribes to which the 144,000 saved Jews belong. They are the firstfruits of all the Jews who will believe on Jesus as their Messiah during the tribulation. Each tribe listed in this passage includes 12,000 sealed believers. Although some teach that ten of the tribes have been lost, they have not been lost to God. We may not know the identification of each tribe today, but God knows each tribe and who belongs to it.

The tribe of Levi is listed, but they unlike the other tribes, the tribe of Levi was the only tribe of Israel that did not receive a territory of land from God.

Then we notice that the tribe of Dan is missing. Many Bible scholars believe that the absence of the tribe of Dan from the list may indicate that the false prophet of Revelation 13 comes from the tribe of Dan. The Danites were the first to plunge Israel into idolatry (Judges 18:30–31). Nevertheless, God extends grace to the tribe of Dan in the tribulation and saves some members of the tribe.

Ezekiel 48:2 includes Dan in the distribution of land in the millennium.

Now...is the 12,000 from each tribe of Jews a LITERAL number?

Think......The Lord Jesus is the one giving this information to John as this is the Revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Do we somehow think that God in the flesh did not known the right word for "Several thousand people"???
HE said......."TWELVE THOUSAND" from each tribe and there is NO reason to question what He said.
 
REVELATION 7:9.........
"After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands".

These tells us that there will be people from ALL NATIONS to be saved. These are GENTILE people!

The 2 Witnesses will preach Jesus from the Temple in Jerusalem which will lead to 144 Thousand Jewish man coming to Christ. Those 144 K will then be the agents of God to spread the gospel which leads to this Tribulation Period revival.

Many, if not most will lose their lives on the earth BUT will gain their heavenly home!

Now, in an effort to validate the Pre-Tribulation Rapture of the Church, allow me to post here chapter 7:14...........
"And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?
And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed
their robes, and made them* white in the blood of the Lamb".

Now, remember, John knew the churches. He wrote letters to them. That was his "present time". Now about 2 thousand years from his writing this book, in verse #13......"HE DOES NOT KNOW THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!!
He knew the Church and recognized it but now, HE DOES NOT RECOGNIZE THIS GROUP OF PEOPLE, even though they are clothed in righteousness = saved.

If you just think about that for a minute you will have to agree that there is only one answer.......They are not part of the Christian Church!
WHY????-----The Church was Raptured and is seated with God in Heaven. Therefore this group of people exists OUTSIDE of the church and they are still on the earth at this time!

OK...........Now back to verse #9.

What I am going to say to all of you will no doubt be questioned and even argued. This is not a popular teaching because it flys in the face of human understaning. Lets read 2nd Thess. 2:1-12..............

"Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him"
(Some of the Thessalonians thought that the final day of the Lord had already come. Paul states firmly that they did not get such an idea from any prophecy, preaching or letter of his . That day will not come until there is open and widespread rebellion against God, led by one known as the man of lawlessness or the wicked one or the Anti-Christ. The GATHERING of the Saints = The Rapture.)

2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
(Day of Christ should read = Day of the Lord!. The correct understanding is that the Day of the Lord begins with the Tribulation Period and continues through the 1000 year rule of Christ. TODAY is the day of Christ or the Age of Grace! That ends with the removal of the Church).

3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
(What day?????-----The CONEXT of verse #1 = Gathering together to Him")

4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
(In the Greek language, this is an ANTECEDENT. This points to the subject of verse #3.....That man of sin, -the son of perdition = the A/C.

5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?

6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
(Who witholds sin???? The government?? The Church?? NO, this is the HOLY SPIRIT).

7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
(The Holy Spirit today indwells the beliers of the Lord Jesus Christ. When they are removed and leave, He leave with them hence there is NO restrainer leaft upon the earth to hold back evil)

8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
( Satan enables this Anti-Christ to perform "false signs and wonders." One of the miracles is mentioned in Revelation 13:13 as that of making fire drop from heaven in public view. Another miracle is that of giving the power of speech to the idol he erects (Revelations 13:15), in honor of the first beast—another end-times figure, appearing in Revelation 13:1–8.
These so-called miracles are counterfeit according to 2 Thessalonians 1:9, but they are intended to dupe people into thinking the man of lawlessness is the Messiah. Jesus, the true Messiah, authenticated His claim to be the Promised One by performing genuine miracles. False miracles are distinguished first by the person who performs them (Matthew 7:16, 20; 1 John 4:2–6), since any person who opposes God cannot be granted God's power. True miracles also support God's Word and His truth. As the apostle John noted: "These [miracles recorded in the Gospel of John] are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ [the Messiah], the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name" (John 20:31).)

Today, the world is looking for and reacts to miracles. The bigger the better. With NO Holy Spirit for direction, the world then will be quick to believe what they think is from God.

NOW I HAVE SAID ALL OF THIS TO GIVE PROPER CONTEXT TO WHAT GOD HAS ALREADY SAID. NOTICE THE NEXT SCRIPTURE CAREFULLY:

10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
This must, out of the necessity of the English language refer to the people who HEARD THE NAME OF JESUS OR CHRIST.
They HEARD but did not accept or believe. They heard the Christmas story. They heard the word EASTER. They actually used the name of Jesus Christ as a curse word but they did not accept Him as Lord.

11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
Now....the Tribulation Period, they will believe the lie of Satan. SCRIPTURE -- NOT ME, but Scripture says Scripture that those who are saved have the presence of the Holy Spirit within them (John 14:16–17; Ephesians 1:13–14), which provides a certain level of spiritual awareness (1 Corinthians 2:14). Those who have rejected Christ do not have this defense (John 3:36). Unbelievers of the tribulation will be totally duped by the false signs and wonders the Devil parades before them. These same lost people had refused to love the truth and be saved (John 3:16–18, 36). They will believe and accept the Anti-Christ as the Messiah!!!!

12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
Please look at and read the SCRIPTURES. How many will be lost-DAMED????..........ALL!!!

This means that if you are alive today, YOU have heard the name Jesus. You have heard the name CHRIST. You have seen on TV and read about CHRISTMAS and EASTER. That means YOU have heard and Know about the Lord Jesus Christ and if the Rapture happens today, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BE SAVED.

The multitude saved during the Tribulation will be JEWS and those who have never been exposed to the gospel.
 
REVELATION 7:10..........
"And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb."

The 144 Thousand will have significant results. In the face of death, they produce results.


Revelation 7:11.................
"And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God".

I do not intend to belabor the point or to even debate it. I only make this comment to let you know that I actually DO READ the Bible. Notice the 1st word in this verse...."SAYING".

The point is....NO WHERE in the Scriptures does it say that angels SING!

Now I can not sing. My church used to pay me extra to NOT SING! However, when I do get to heaven, I will be a song bird!!!!

The Time frame here is the 2 half of the 7 year Tribulation.


REVELATION 7;13-14........
And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?

14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

This was discussed in verse #9.

John makes it more than clear that this is NOT the Church bunch. I realize that not everyone believes in a pre-tribulation Rapture. But it seems to me that that argument really takes a big hit with verses #13 and #14 here.

Again, allow me to say that John DID NOT KNOW WHO THESE PEOPLE WERE. He had to be told and he certainly would have known the Church.

The Two-witnesses do indeed preach from the 1335 until they die at the end of the 2nd Woe. However, nowhere in the bible does it say the "144,000" preach the Gospel, instead Rev. 14:6 says an Angel is given that charge, that is oral men's tradition, one I had for nigh 30 years. But it is not n the word of God. There are also reasons I d not think the number is 144,000, I think that is a CODE fir All Israel who repents. God stated He had saved Himself 7000 men. God stated in Rev. 7 the number is 144,000, and in Zechariah 13:8-9 (why this first hit me) He states that 1/3 of all the Jews will repent, whilst 2/3 refuse to repent and will die. Then in the very next verse (Zech. 14:1) we see that the Day of the Lord has Arrived !! So, its end time prophesy.

So, with 19 million Jews living in Israel and 15 million living world wide, the number has to be 3-5 million (1/3) so how can 7000 and 144,000 be correct? Well, God uses numbers a lot. The 10 Virgin Brides stands for the whole Church !! And they are nit all female are they? The 10 Commandments are a stand in for all God's laws. In Rev. 2:10 Smyrna had 10 days of tribulation, which meant the complete Church Age. So, 10 = Completion, 12 = Fulness and we know that 6 = man 7 = Divine Completion etc. God used numbers because the Hebrew had only 4000 words and no vowels.

7 x 10 x 10 x 10 = 7000 or ALL Israel who repents. 12 x 12 x 10 x 10 x 10 = 144,000 or ALL Israel who repents. Now all three can match up, because 1/3 = 3-5 million Jews who repents or ALL Israel.

In reality, these are the Jews who repent, then flee Judea at the AoD just before the Wrath of God hits in Rev. 8. It even gives us that very important hint. Hold back the four winds that the Trees, Earth and Seas be nor HURT. Well, what hurts the Trees, Seas, and Earth? The Rev. 8 Trumpet Judgments !!

I wish I could say that I remember, but alas, I just do not. I did do some work many years ago on another site but for the past 13 or so years I settled down here on this site. They PAY me so much money that I just could not refuse.

You are absolutly correct brother. However, as I tried to show, ...........
Revelation 7 is divided into 2 parts:
1. Verses 1-8 show how the worldwide revival is to be carried out.
2. Verses 9-17 show the results achieved by worldwide revival of the 144,000 Jews preaching the Gospel during the tribulation.

Now we can quibble over words, whether their ministry is "Witnessesing or preaching or teaching" but the results of what they do is a world wide coming to Christ by the Gentiles and Jews. That IMHO is all that matters.

You could be right and there are many Bible scholars who hold to that idea. I am just not one of them for TWO reasons.
1. I am not a Bible scholar. I are just an old fashioned country boy. No more no less and proud of it.
2. I am a LITERALIST. God said 144 Thousand. I believe him.

I do hope and pray for your mother. I lost mine many years ago when she went to heaven at 86 years old. Cherish the time you have now!!!
