“On the weaponized Christan Defense of the State of Israel”

Muslims, whether Palestinian, Egyptian, Syrian, Iraqi, etc. will not rest as long as a single Jew still lives on earth. The Quran calls for the extermination of Jews. What's particularly sad is the way some antisemitic Christians have sympathized with the Muslims and their cause. They're trying to make Christ into an ally of Muhammad. In my opinion, the antisemites are closet Nazis in their hearts. I would question the Christianity of people that want to ally themselves with the murderous Muslims.
Dear Brother, I would say that this subject is very deep ...

God's "Chosen People" may not be referring to a land, Israel, nor a modern day government. Jesus told his apostles to go our to the Gentiles and spread the Gospel, so are not all those who follow Christ, His Chosen People?

Let's face it, our "leaders" are pretty anti-Christ in most of what they are doing today, and so often hide behind His Name, so that we, the People are again hoodwinked. Nothing has changed since the Beginning ... nothing is what it seems!

Here are some of the verses that coms to mind, when Jesus warned of End Times:

“Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.” – James 1:22
This verse teaches us that simply hearing God’s Word is not enough; we must put it into practice. Deception can occur when we fail to apply what we learn, leading us into complacency and false security.

"Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves." (Matthew 7:15)
False prophets are people who pretend to speak for God, to get attention and power. They often make big promises that sound good but are just lies. But what is the difference between a prophet and a false prophet, and how can we tell the difference?

There are many more examples of Deception at End Times: https://explainingthebible.com/bible-verses-about-deception-in-the-end-times/

I would have to agree that the Old Testament seems to refer to a land Israel, yet we know too that Jacob was named Israel!?
However, did not the New Testament and the coming of the Messaih, the Son of Man overwrite this belief in "Israel being the Chosen Race" ... perhaps another topic to be explored ...

Warm regards Linda
