“On the weaponized Christan Defense of the State of Israel”

Muslims, whether Palestinian, Egyptian, Syrian, Iraqi, etc. will not rest as long as a single Jew still lives on earth. The Quran calls for the extermination of Jews. What's particularly sad is the way some antisemitic Christians have sympathized with the Muslims and their cause. They're trying to make Christ into an ally of Muhammad. In my opinion, the antisemites are closet Nazis in their hearts. I would question the Christianity of people that want to ally themselves with the murderous Muslims.
Dear Brother, I would say that this subject is very deep ...

God's "Chosen People" may not be referring to a land, Israel, nor a modern day government. Jesus told his apostles to go our to the Gentiles and spread the Gospel, so are not all those who follow Christ, His Chosen People?

Let's face it, our "leaders" are pretty anti-Christ in most of what they are doing today, and so often hide behind His Name, so that we, the People are again hoodwinked. Nothing has changed since the Beginning ... nothing is what it seems!

Here are some of the verses that coms to mind, when Jesus warned of End Times:

“Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.” – James 1:22
This verse teaches us that simply hearing God’s Word is not enough; we must put it into practice. Deception can occur when we fail to apply what we learn, leading us into complacency and false security.

"Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves." (Matthew 7:15)
False prophets are people who pretend to speak for God, to get attention and power. They often make big promises that sound good but are just lies. But what is the difference between a prophet and a false prophet, and how can we tell the difference?

There are many more examples of Deception at End Times: https://explainingthebible.com/bible-verses-about-deception-in-the-end-times/

I would have to agree that the Old Testament seems to refer to a land Israel, yet we know too that Jacob was named Israel!?
However, did not the New Testament and the coming of the Messaih, the Son of Man overwrite this belief in "Israel being the Chosen Race" ... perhaps another topic to be explored ...

Warm regards Linda

Replacement theology was started by the Catholic Church after the fall of Rome. The theology is based on the eschatological views of Augustine of Hippo. It is a theology resulting from bad exegesis and holds that the Church is the new Israel and that God has forsaken Israel in favor of the Church, but Scripture, especially Romans contradicts this view. This view is responsible for much Christian antisemitism because it teaches that the Jews have been cast aside. It is one (but not the only) reason why the pope during WWII didn't speak out more forcefully against Nazi antisemitism and the holocaust. Some even use that theology to call Jews "Christ killers" and that they deserved the holocaust based on Matthew 27:25. The interpretive overlay of Covenant Theology is the only place where Replacement Theology is found. The interpretive overlay of Dispensational Theology opposes Replacement Theology.

Personally, I view Replacement Theology as heretical and dangerous. It's being used to recruit Christians to the Palestinian cause.
Hi Bro,
Perhaps we can explore this together as Brothers and Sisters in Christ:
"for in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s offspring, heirs according to promise. (Galatians 3:26–29 ESV)"
"And so how do the Apostles of Christ answer this posted question? They left this record:
For you are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus...for there is neither Jew or Greek, there is neither bond or free, there is neither male or female, for all are One in Christ Jesus. And if you be Christ's then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the Promise. (Galatians 3:38)
The original intent of the Abrahamic Covenant was not the privilege of one race, but was a spiritual covenant in which all nations could participate...because of faith in Christ.! (Compare Hebrews 11:8-16 "a spiritual city sought")
You also, as living stones, are built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ....Unto you therefore who believe he is precious; but unto them who be disobedient, the Stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner...But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people, that you should show forth the praises of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. Which in time past were not a people, but now are the people of God! (1 Peter 2:5-10)"
AND

The natuon of Israel as a country, is a secular state and I think Christians (evangelicals) are being duped into thinking they are supporting God's people by supporting Israel's political interests.
The reality is, that anyone who denies Christ are not the Christian God's people.

We can agree that our God is Father, Son and Holy Spirit ... you can't remove Christ and still claim "same God theology".

Luke 10:16
New King James Version
16 He who hears you hears Me, he who rejects you rejects Me, and he who rejects Me rejects Him who sent Me.” (These are Christ's own words!).

Galatians 4: 21-31
21 Tell me, you who desire to be under the law, do you not hear the law? 22 For it is written that Abraham had two sons: the one by a bondwoman, the other by a freewoman. 23 But he who was of the bondwoman was born according to the flesh, and he of the freewoman through promise, 24 which things are symbolic. For these are [g]the two covenants: the one from Mount Sinai which gives birth to bondage, which is Hagar— 25 for this Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia, and corresponds to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children— 26 but the Jerusalem above is free, which is the mother of us all. 27 For it is written:

“Rejoice, O barren,
You who do not bear!
Break forth and shout,
You who are not in labor!
For the desolate has many more children
Than she who has a husband.”

28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are children of promise. 29 But, as he who was born according to the flesh then persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, even so it is now. 30 Nevertheless what does the Scripture say? “Cast out the bondwoman and her son, for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.” 31 So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman but of the free.

Does Israel have a right to protects itself? Absolutely.

Are there Jews who believe in Jesus as the only begotton Son? Of course!

Can America and Israel form a political alliance? Yes.

But, Christians are not obligated to support Israel anymore than we are to support any other people group. Israel needs our prayers just as Palestistine, Russia, Ukraine, Nigeria, China, etc. Any and every person lacking the truth of Jesus needs our support thru prayer and action.

Is All Life Important to Almighty God, Jesus Christ and Holy Spirit?
Of course! The question is why is Israel solely unjustified in self defense? Hamas, Hezbolla, Iran and the entirety of the Muslim world want Israel destroyed and Jews euthanized and we collectively blame the Jews when they defend themselves? Israel warns Gaza before they attack. They hamper their own fighting to reduce civilian death. Hamas still holds hostages and we blame Israel for not stopping the combat. Israel is the only country held to such scrutiny. Israel is also the only Jewish country. This is no coincidence.
