The Beatles, well one of them, John Lennon, famously quipped that they were more famous than Jesus.
I don't know about that, but maybe it seemed like it to them at the time (or they just wanted to use hyperbole). I suppose it was kind of a compliment to our Lord anyway. lol
Apparently when they went on world tour concerts nobody could even hear them play and sing because the crowd was too noisy screaming their heads off. Not sure why?!
