The light created is "energy". Now this energy God called “Day”. The word Day means
day, time, or
year. The word Night means
night, enclosed space, or
protective shadow. Seeing how this can’t be the Sun’s light (created in day four) the word Day is best translated as
time. Night is then best translated
enclosed space, or
protective shadow, Colossians 2:17. This space encompasses all of heaven and the universe. All things created, both seen and unseen. In other words, with the division of “light” and “darkness”, God created what scientists call today the
space-time continuum.
Now we have the word firmament which means a
vault, an
expanse. God created three
vaults, or
containers, called
Heaven: the abode of God and spirits, Job 1:6-7; Mark 16:19, outer space, Genesis 1:14, and the atmosphere of the Earth, Genesis 1:20. (The Jews believe that are actually seven levels of heaven.) Read it like this: “Let there be a container in the midst of the atoms to divide the atoms.” This is the division of the separating the atom, the
transitory things (waters)
. This is the creation of Earth’s boundaries, separating the atoms of the Earth from those in outer space. Right now this is just an empty container.
The word
gathered is the word (
קוה) and means
to bind together. So God bound together the atoms into one place within the container specified in verse eight and dry land appeared, and the word
appeared means
one upon another. The waters were
bound together and the land was put
one upon another. We call it
strata. How wonderfully specific is the word of God!
1 Corinthians 15:27-28 (KJV)
For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith, all things are put under [him, it is] manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
Colossians 1:16-17 (KJV)
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether [they be] thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
That last part of the verse “by Him all things consist” literally means “by Him all things are held together”. Jesus is the
wisps of energy that the scientists found that seem to bind together all the atoms of the universe. Jesus holds it all together “…that God may be all in all!” Jesus is in every atom in the universe!
