Are sins equal in the eyes of God? I know that any one sin will send you to hell, but for me, killing someone is alot worse than say... lying.
well, some people say sins arent equal, some people say sins are equal.
Theres scripture to suggest either theories are correct. Take your pick.
well Ive found scripture to suggest both in my experience. So one can only choose to believe both.![]()
just in how you as an individual interpret it all, thats it. Its not like its a big deal or anything.
i dont know where, i just remember as a youth my youth pastor telling me that all sins are considered bad in God's eye. ~shrug~ and theres no degree of bad, juts bad alone.
What if you know that it is a sin but you don't have the self-control to stop yourself from doing it? Are you going still going to be forgiven if you repent for it right after you've done it?

15I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. 16And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. 17As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. 18I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature.[c] For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. 19For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing. 20Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.
5Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. 6The mind of sinful man[h] is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace; 7the sinful mind is hostile to God. It does not submit to God's law, nor can it do so. 8Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot please God.
