Ask the right person

How about.... They grind up Jill and her husband because they drink a few beers now and then.... Exclude them from church functions and positions they are well qualified for....

But the same people doing the griping are lousy tippers.... And instead of a real money tip, they leave some tracks..... Great - because this is somebody's day job.... Would those same people accept tracks from their employer in lieu of actual payment?

That is sin - but we don't treat it as such. If you want to leave a generous tip and a track - sure..... But don't withhold payment due because of your greed and then try to hide behind the bible.... That profanes the Name of The Lord...

In reality sister, there is hardly a law of God that David did not break. He coveted another mans wife, he lied, he stole, he committed adultery, he committed murder and the list goes on and on.

Then actually Solomon had 300 women in a harem and married a woman who eventually brought idolatry and false religion to Israel.

To be totally honest, being humble and sincere are wonderful attributes but neither of them have anything to do with salvation. Mother Teresa did good things because she was led to do so and did them well. But those works had nothing to do with salvation.
I think they have alot to do with salvation because our human nature is nothing like that. We can't be what god wants us to be unless he reaches down and touches us. Also your faith produces good works... Through no credit of your own bc its God working through you...prior wed have little to no desire to do them( good works) nor could we actually do them.

You are on the right path. Your comment is Biblically correct. We do good things Because we are saved, not to be saved. Good works are the product of salvation.

I would suggest that anyone who leaves a Christian track and gives no tip or barely a tip just might not be who they say they are.

The real Christian will leave a track and more than the minimum so that you will know that there is a difference between them and everyone else.
