Demons are lying spirits. The kind that alone comes out with prayer and fasting seeking in order to be heard on high ( the will of God) in a hope of him moving empowering us to work it out . Him making the load lighter .
Sometimes slowing down like the old song "Feeling Groovy" (Simon and Garfuncle) can strengthen a person for the unexpected. Philiaipian 1 :6 informs us . . if he has begun the good work of savaltion in us he will finish it to the end .let him be your confidence whether times are or good or evil in that way no man can dicsover his future helping us keep focus.
There is nothing we can do other than share the fruits of our labor we have in Emanauel (God with us) . Both fruits those seen and those not seen, the gospel . . .you could say mixed fruit. .
Having doubt can be a work of the unseen Spirit moving a person to be heard on high. This is not the same as the asccuser of the brethern he accuses the belivers day and night for not trusting what the eyes see..
A good example is given when John the baptist had doubt right before he was beheaded. Heard on high moved by the Spirit he sent for the answer to the end of his faith. . . taking away all doubt. .
In that parable below many
gospel metaphors I believe are used to express the good news .John as a result of the understanding of that parable entered his eternal rest .
Luke7:19:22 And John calling unto him two of his disciples sent them to Jesus, saying,
Art thou he that should come? or look we for another?
When the men were come unto him, they said,
John Baptist hath sent us unto thee, saying,
Art thou he that should come? or look we for another?
And in that
same hour he cured many of their infirmities and plagues, and of evil spirits; and unto many that
were blind he gave sight.
Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have
seen and heard; how that the
blind see, the
lame walk, the l
epers are cleansed, the
deaf hear, the
dead are raised, to the poor the
gospel is
preached.
Laying on of hands .In that way in the Bible what the eyes see was performed by the will of Him not seen. (A mutual work of faith or labor of love) Jesus the Son of man seen who delighted in doing the will of the unseen Father
Hands in the bible are used to represent the will .Laying on of hands literally reveals the will of man seen .Spiritually not seen the will or hand of God. It’s the work of the unseen Spirit that can profit .We would never give over the unseen power of the Holy Spirit to human hands. We have that treasure working in us with us but it is of God, not mankind. God does not heal by human hands he is not served by them .He who has no needs satisfies all.
2 Corinthians 4:7 But
we have this
treasure in
earthen vessels, that the
excellency of the
power may be
of God, and
not of us.
Laying on of hands like folding of ones hands or bowing is a humble expression, an appeal to be heard of High promted by one that can strengthen ones feeble mind or body if one has sinned they can be forgiven.
