What is dumber?

1. Acknowledging you have limiting factors but observing where the evidence points or
2. Not acknowledging your limiting factors and ignoring where all the evidence points.

I am not, you are. We have been over this many times already. In order to see the evidence you need to remove head from ground (remember ostrich syndrome). But then you can't do that easily can you. You have placed it there for a reason.

Why would god hide? Especially when people will be tortured forever if they get the answer wrong.

Maybe. We try to make sense of the chaos around us. We get better at it every year.
