Yes I know its on his time... I remember when I did go to church ECT..

There were these signs / dates... Like the Oct. Bloodmoon or whatever ...so many times I heard he was so close, so at the door...yet..

Nothing has happened...not that I want him to..bc I'm no where near ready... But..it just seems like it'd be a millennium before he returns.

What do you think :)

Well if He is not coming back, then you might as well take the Bible and throw it in the trash can.
 
Signs are meant to get our attention so we can be ready. Besides, what makes you think you can't be ready?

Pancakes, I hope that these words I write do not come across as unloving, harsh, or mean spirited, but it is the truth.


From your first post, it looks like you do not go to church, there is a problem. Find a church, get plugged in, and serve, if you know Christ, you will grow exponentially.

If you think that the bible is "good for encouragement from time to time" then there is your problem for many things you post about. The bible is not something the Lord purposed for us to read when we feel like we need encouragement. The Holy bible is the Word of God, it is how we get to know who God is, what His plans are, who we are, and how we need to live for Him. If it is anything less than the solid reference to who God is, then we are misusing a great privilege given to us.
Following Christ isn't something that we can play with, it is either the entirety of our existence with influence on every action we do. Or nothing at all, there is no "middle ground" with God and eternity.

I pray that you find Christ pancakes, and if you already know Him, that you decide to allow Him to dictate every action in your life. No human is perfect, but we must walk in obedience if we desire God.

There are so many things in one post!! Why you stopped going to Church? That is a separate discussion.
As each minute passes by, we are 1 more minute closer to Lord's coming. Remember the early church? They sold everything and were ready every minute for coming of Lord. We need to be prepared even more!
Why do you feel you are not ready? Either you are rejecting the Gospel and not ready or allowing devil to deceive you that you are not ready. There is nothing like "getting ready" or "in the process of getting ready". You are either ready or not ready!
And to answer the question, yes. The Lord is coming back. If not, His first coming is not true. Cross is not true. Salvation is not true. And there is no point believing in God.

So if he wasn't coming there would be no point in believing in God.. That's wild to me...

And to everyone else who keeps asking..yes I know humans aren't perfect but...i didn't have a great church experience...and idk sometimes it can really make or break you..so I dont judge those who have i guess been beat down by life and just lost faith BC I'm trying to keep what little I have now...i dont want to go into details...but that's why.

I'm not playing with god, its just things happened..and life did too..im trying to find my way back to Him but its not as easy as it seems... :/

Ya, I think there are some core beliefs. Jesus returning back is one of them. Because it is plain black and white in Bible. That same Jesus is coming back. Another website has done the job of compiling such verses :) I will re-use it

Rejecting return of Lord is rejecting Jesus's teaching. Rejecting His teaching is rejecting Him. Because He is Truth. Rejecting the truth in Bible is rejecting Him. That's why this is one of the core beliefs and there can be no compromise.

Regarding you going to Church, my question was not judgmental. Hope I did not sound like that :) That's why I said it is a separate discussion. There are certainly many benefits of being part of Church. And not necessarily a mega-Church. I actually prefer smaller churches and I am part of one such Church.

you know
the presidential election is November this year, its coming, nothing can stop it,
then on jan 20 2017 Donald trump will be sworn in as president, ??
then in 2018 on the 14th of may there will 70 years elapsed since Israel was declared a nation, 70 years is a prophetic number of years,
so time is slowly going by
but very quickly events will unfold
and 6000 years of Biblical time will be up in about 7 or 8 years
and Jesus will have been gone 2000 years in about 10 or so years from now
the world is cooking,
gay marriage, tattoos, drugs, the global economy, islam, its all coming together bit by bit.
you can't rush into the end of the world.
