Economic Downturn Warning

The Dow lost 358 points Thursday and the blue chip index fell below 17000 points. Asia and European markets also showing dismal results and "growth fears" sends markets into skid.

My dear, investors and banking officials have been warning of a correction. I have a dear friend who is a bank counselor for Wells Fargo and he told me to expect just this thing almost 8 months ago. I spoke to him yesterday and he said......"This is what I told you was coming".

The stock market does this all the time. Stocks rise above their value due to investors excitement of good news and fall for the same reason.

If anyone has investments in the stock market you have not lost a penny as long as you do not sell any stock. Value yes, actual money NO.
 
The market fell 531 points in one day. CNN calls it shock....350 yesterday & 531 today = shock. Correction? most assuredly....collapse in Sept? Maybe it's early
 
888 in two days... That's an amazing thing... In Greek the numerical value of "Jesus" is 888, and in Hebrew "I am the Lord, I change not." has the value of 888, Mal 3:6. And the cherry of top, in Hebrew 888 also sums to the word mashiach - messiah. Interesting coincident.
 
I had heard it was coming. I'm glad I moved out of the stock market a month ago. It's all in my 401k. We'll see where I'm at shortly.
 
They have the weekend to do any prop ups they can. Wonder if they will have another computer glitch on Monday?

Actually I'll bet they'll go up several hundred points...everyone will sigh relief, continue as normal. And then WHAM! A bigger drop.
 
Busy day in the 8th month.....259 wildfires burning in 17 states. All this costs. 8 months ago the warning sounded. Lotta '8's. I think you are right @Abdicate....
 
BTW,...888 was right. 530 (530.94) fall today and 358 yesterday - which I got right off CNN. And rumors of wars....North Korea
 
The Asian market (China) tanked overnight with London -3.07%, Paris -3.42%, Frankfort -3.18%, Hong Kong -5.17%, Shanghai -8.49%, Tokyo -4.61%. The predictions are now that it is going to be a very ugly day today for the NY Stock Exchange.
