The facts however are What our relatives may or may not have done or been does not does not make it right brother.
The point of the thread was.....Can Christianity and Freemasonry co-exist?
In light of the Scriptures, IMHO they can not.
Put aside what our fathers were, Put aside what some has told you. IT does not matter what Masons were. Allow me to ask YOU to respond to these questions.
1. God said in
Exodus 20:3 "You shall have no other gods before Me.”
If any club or organization has a position that it supports
generic deity, or seems to divert or dilute believers’ focus from the God revealed in Scripture......should it be rejected by the Christian.
2. God said in
Acts 4:12, “Salvation exists in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.”
If any club or organization supports any monotheistic faith as long as they profess belief in a Supreme Being as the Artichect of the Universe....should it be rejected?
3. God said in
2 Timothy 3:16 “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for instruction, for conviction, for correction, and for training in righteousness.”
If any club or organization holds various local sacred texts as equal to the Bible during its rituals, placing them on the altar as representations of divine revelation for members of different religions....should it be rejected?
