Yes, but the theology of Word of Faith and Prosperity is heresyFWIW, I believe there are extremes on both sides of this aisle.
There is a big difference though between classic pentacostalism and word of faith heresySure, FWIW= For What It's Worth.
'Both sides of the aisle', in this case would mean on 'both sides' one could find extremes, whether it be a hyper cessationist or a hyper Charismatic.
Did I mention WOF? I thought I said charismatics, in which there is less of a difference between them and Classic Pentecostalism. There is a big difference though between classic pentacostalism and word of faith heresy
Agreed, but as I mentioned above, I don't recall mentioning the WOF heresy.Yes, but the theology of Word of Faith and Prosperity is heresy
true, but the Charasmtics seem to be the ones really into word of Faith, modern prophets and Apostles etcDid I mention WOF? I thought I said charismatics, in which there is less of a difference between them and Classic Pentecostalism.
I guess it's a matter of perspectivetrue, but the Charasmtics seem to be the ones really into word of Faith, modern prophets and Apostles etc
The classic churches such as AOG deny modern day Apostles and prophets and leery of word of faith, but charasmatics on the whole relish all of thatI guess it's a matter of perspective. I see their emphasis more on the gifts of the Spirit.
