Hello and many blessing from Schenectady, New York
Allow me to introduce myself.
My name is Dawn and I was born in the wee early hours of the morning, hense the name - risingsun. I was married at 21, had 4 boys by the time I was 30 and now I am a grandmother to a 2 year old girl. The one blessing I have is that all of my children are saved.
In 1994, I became a child of God, but several years ago things changed in my life and I ended up ignoring that fact, but my children have been praying for me. That prayer is working, because it is what is driving that new hunger in me.
I used to live in the Western part of New York, but I moved back to my hometown a year ago. Recently, I began to search God out again. I am not where I want to be yet, but I am working on it...that's how I ended up here. I need to start "hanging out" with fellow brothers and sisters, instead of the "riff raff" I was "hanging with". I want to do what is good and right so that I can be a good example to my grandchild and any future grandchildren.
One question I have at the moment is: Would as many of you as possible, please share a bible verse that will encourage me and help me to walk the straight and narrow path? I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanking you all in advance.
