I read on a fixed schedule.I read mine almost every day. Occasionally the day is so busy from the start I forget, though. I read through the Bible, but not on a fixed schedule or number of chapters per day. I like to read for comprehension.
I completely agree with you. When we are posting on here, we quote from the Bible and think of things from a Biblical prospective.Discussing the Bible here on this forum does cause one to study it more often than they would normally do. Which is very good.
I totally agree. Without that fellowship time with the Father, the Word of God says nothing. The Father is what gives a "voice" to the written Word, since he is the one who spoke it.I completely agree with you. I am always up front with people, I don't read the Bible every day; I think my personal time with God is far more important.
I love the Bible, and I read it everyday. It's really the highlight of my day.
One thing that I like to do is go over details in the Bible in my head and try to explain them.I started reading a chapter in Genesis, Psalm, Proverbs, Matthew daily. When I get through Psalm and Proverbs I start over again until I complete the Old and New Testament. Like others have said, I study it a lot more from posts on the forums I belong to. I also try to do a Bible Study once a week and that helps in studying it more in depth.
