Is Jesus truly omniscient?

Exactly..........Now if Jesus was fully God as He walked in this earth would He have need of the Holy Spirit coming into Him ?
My point is simple.............this was the plan all along that Jesus would be born of a woman ( no blood nor sin could enter His blood ) and with out man. ( mans blood goes into the child)
A Man had to go to the cross. The holy Spirit could not nor could God go but it had to take a MAN in order to die and defeat death.

Jim the scriptures clearly teach that Jesus was God in the flesh, that He was the Word made flesh, that dwelt among us.

He didn't have NEED of the Holy Spirit to come into Him, the Word of God is as much God as the Father or the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit came on Him and stayed on Him in order for Him to model the life that we are to live...He did it this way for us. A man did go to the cross and die to pay the price for our sins, but since Jesus was God, then God Himself died for us. God Himself paid for our sins. His own arm brought us salvation. It is God that saved us, not man. I don't know if you are implying that Jesus was not God, if you are then you are saying that a man saved us and not God.

No I did not say that Mykuhl !! I am saying that Jesus did not walk as God. He was as much as a man as any other man can be. God never died.

Yes, He was as much a man as any other man and yes you are right, He didn't walk(operate) as God. But, He was God, and if you acknowledge that He was God then you must also acknowledge that God Himself died for us.

Isn't this what the Bible teaches? That He left His "powers" in heaven?

to the glory of God the Father.

To be elevated, one must be lower level.

In reading in Philippians 2:6-8 it talks about Jesus taking on the form of a servant.... and in Luke, when after He was in the temple...it says that He grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.

I always thought that Jesus walked this earth as a man, but without His own power, separate from the Holy Spirit.

The difference between Jesus and us is that Jesus was born without the sinful dna of Adam. So in my thinking He had a big advantage over us...He didn't have to struggle like we do with sin. He was tempted like we are, but because there was no sin in Him...He did not sin.

In the interlinear it says He emptied Himself.

Here is what it says in the Amplified....
Who although being essentially one with God and in the form of God (possessing thr fullness of the atributes which make God, God), did not think this equality with God ww a thing to be eagerly grasped or retained. 7) but stripped Himself [of all privileges and rightful dignity], so as to assume the guise of a servant (slave), in that He became like men and was born a human being.

If this is the case then what about John 10:18 and John 5:26? Here Jesus is saying He has the authority/power to lay down His life and to take it back up again. He also says that He has life in Himself.
