Thanks a lot Sylvanus! 
I don't know a lot about the bible. All I know is that I have a strong faith and love to GOD. I'm not a member of any fellowship here in the Philippines and I've been thinking about it for weeks. There are a lot of Christian communities around here but given my bad experience with the person who raised me as a Christian, I'm having a hard time trusting these sects.
I feel that it is GOD that helped me find this forum site. I just prayed and thanked him about this 5 minutes ago. I'm so glad that I can now talk to people about my faith and spirituality.

Hi TLC and welcome to the forum . I am not one for repetitious prayer but there are a few I reccomend to young Christians, here is one example of an annointed prayer from the Apostle Paul that can be personalized to become both the prayer of your heart and faith's confession at the same time- enjoy-
Eph 1:2 Grace be to TLC, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
Eph 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed TLC with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
Eph 1:4 According as he hath chosenTLC in him before the foundation of the world, that TLC should be holy and without blame before him in love:
Eph 1:5 Having predestinated TLC unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
Eph 1:6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made TLC accepted in the beloved.

It took me a few days to get to this forum but i think Im finally here. I am also new. Im from the united States NY even. I was raised in a Baptist church as a child growing stronger thru family and friends as they guided me thru my spiritual walk. I came to know the Lord at 12 years old as my Lord and personal Savior. Today Im so Glad hes in my life since this world today you often ask , how can anyone live with out knowing God as there savior?ITs really tough out there in this great big world. I decided to check out the forum thru my sister, who gave me the site. I thank her for that Look forward to meeting you all . God Bless Terri
