What do you mean?
Honestly, I do hear Him. Clearly. And I have seen Him in visions and dreams. He said I should just trust Him. I just wanted to know what other people say about knowing His will. But your responses confirmed what He said.
Thank you all for your responses.
I was just making a point...Like Martha who was so busy trying to serve the Lord she failed to do the ONE NEEDFUL THING that Mary did? Rest at His feet and behold His beauty and hear His words. The idea that we have to starve ourselves to see the One who will never leave nor forsake us is just not biblically correct according to the New Covenant we have in His Blood. The oldest manuscripts 1000 years older than those who have the word "fasting" in the text, do not have this word as the newer text do. And here is the fast that the Lord desires of us...
Isa 58:7 Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?
8 ¶ Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy rereward.
9 Then shalt thou call, and the LORD shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity;
10 And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noonday:
11 And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.
This is the true fast of Christ...the idea that we would "neglect the body" is a teaching of satan to bring folks back into legalism and bondage to the flesh.
Col 2:23 Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility,
and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.
