To my knowledge... UNLESS things have changed.... Catholicism considers itself the ONE true church. You're saying 2 things here... if and when youre thinking about Christianity but don't include Catholics... how can Catholics also be saved, if Catholicism doesn't save? If your generous enough to include them in salvation then they must be included in Christianity because only Christians can be saved.
Also Catholics believe protestant are brothers and sisters in Christ
Because I have walked away from Catholicism.... I am also now an apostate who is going to hell ( due to the fact that I have walked away from the church ). That is according to the Catholic church.
I do NOT consider the Catholic church to have the authority to claim 99% of the things they claim... therefore...I do not consider the CATHOLIC teaching to be CHRISTIAN. ARE some Catholics saved... probably... and that is up to GOD.... but it is not the teachings that save them... it is the shed BLOOD of CHRIST on the cross and ONLY that.
I consider Christianity the formation of TRUE BIBLICAL teaching AFTER the 99 thesis.
If a person believes that JESUS CHRIST died for their sins... and He is GOD and repents of their sins... then they are a Christian based solely on that and NOT on any traditions or repetitions of rituals.
CHRISTIANITY is ONE BODY and it is NOT what Catholics have made it to be ( in my opinion ).
SO... I'm not sure how to explain things so that I am NOT saying 2 separate things.
I believe the Catholic church is a CULT.... and I say this from experience as a former member.
