Mystery Babylon...

So I finally unwound the last part of Mystery Babylon..

It has 3 pieces:
Civil Legislation
Civil Justice
State Religion.

It was invented and instituted as a means to pacify and control the masses which was FAR more palatable than Martial Law...

The State Religion part was the last part of the puzzle though.

I recently learned that the “Primordial ooze” giving birth to Creation by the agency of Chaos is the literal underpinning of the entire ancient Babylonian religious system.

Does this sound familiar to you guys? Evolution? Notice how it’s a religion.... Funny that....

So we now have all 3 parts of Mystery Babylon firmly entrenched in The West....

Civil Law and Civil Justice implemented by Hammurabi and then the Chaos driven Evolution based Babylonian religion...

All you have to do is substitute the word “Nations” for the word “gods” pertaining to the onward and upward “Progress of Man” and it’s complete...

Um ok I thought it was fueled by Mammon and idolatry as revealed in revelation, (the image of the beast being worshipped, the woman rides the beast) . But if you think its civil law and justice..? I would say its injustice. Notice the huge gap between rich and poor in corrupt societies the world over.
Remember how its said the Kings of the earth commit fornication? Which kings was it referring to, those of Israel or kings in general.

Also revelation was speaking to those at the time of st John's exile. This is why Jesus addresses letters to the seven churches in the Mediterranean, he wasnt actually thinking of the USA in the 21st century.

As for evolution, well most people kinda know Charles Darwins theory is rubbish lol! Can't believe that some people insist that its correct when if they really thought about it, makes zero sense. But if people wanna believe their ancestors are monkeys, thats their problem, you cant convince them otherwise!

The Beast is an idiom used for a massive, powerful military empire.

The Harlot/Mystery Babylon is an idiom used for the system of civil government and state religion the Military Empire employs to keep it’s population under control.

The event in The Revelation shows an event when Military Empire gets fed up with the constant yammering and self-seeking of this civil government and religious system, as well as the restraint it forces..... At that point, The Military Empire simply throws off all pretense of caring about civil government and state religion and destroys it.

Materialistic Evolution is the defacto standard current belief of our culture. Materialistic evolution underpins the current “Doctrine of Progress” that currently rules the day in The West.

My point was that it’s not a new idea - it’s an ancient idea, and forms the basis of the Babylonian Religious system which was invented and perfected as an effective “Opiate of the Masses”....

This is not a coincidence. The principalities and powers driving this know exactly what they are doing. They know the path. They have planned the ultimate outcome.

Haha world domination. But God has the final say about that. Evil will never triumph, as our Lord and saviour has got this too. Hallelujah!

Does this go with the "One World" and No Borders concepts?

Yep - and the irony is that they have become “True Believers” in Mystery Babylon and they are now looking towards this Great Harlot to achieve Wealth, Progress, Brotherhood of Man, and One World Unity.....

The thing is - Mystery Babylon is an empty shirt. She has no power in herself to achieve any of this - all her “power” and “authority” comes directly from the Military Empire...

She is not the Great Ruler riding in on a white horse but rather a rag doll that is taped to the back of a dog.... She is simply a created palliative designed to distract The Masses....

Well revelation shows us that her city is destroyed in one day. Burnt to smithereens. So she cant have that much power.

Start with Revelation 17. We see the great Harlot - Mystery Babylon "Riding on the beast"

So what is the beast?

Daniel 7 teach us that these sort of "Beasts" symbolize huge military empires.

So then what rides on the back of military empires world wide?

Babylon implemented a system which "Rides on the back" of their military empire to act as an opiate for the population to pacify them against violent revolt.

This system is Civil Government and state religion. Nimrod started this with state religion. Every secondary school "Social studies" text book teaches us that a Babylonian king named Hammurabi implemented Civil Government - legislation and courts - which were independent of the Military system. Within these systems - The Government exerts their final say on all matters - including matters pertaining to God.

But notice how ultimately - the final goal of these systems is that The Military Empire can do what it wants without encumberance or challenge to their right to rule from within.

Notice how this contrasts sharply against God's system instituted by Moses - where God Himself decrees the laws and is the final arbiter of legal issues. Your final recourse is to seek a decision from God himself either the high priest or through a prophet. God's law encompasses both civil and military matters - and the presumption is that God rules over all, and this includes God's right to appoint His leaders or remove them at His pleasure.

Revelation and Isaiah 47 show us that this civil government and state religion will ultimately become so large and "powerful" that it will decide that it is the one who is really in charge of the Military Empire...... Then, the Military Empire will tire of all this and will revolt - casting off and destroying the Civil Government.

The massive, bloated, and rich Civil Government and State Religion system will be cast off and destroyed by the Military Empire and the Military Empire will go back to exerting total war and Martial Law.

The interesting thing is the prophetic prediction that "secular" civil government will mostly centralize and exert massive authority - and that God declares it "wickedness".. (Zechariah 5).... This is the current goal of the political class worldwide... The interesting thing is that we know both that it's coming and how it ends...

what bible do you read? Daniel 7:23 explains that the fourth beast is the fourth kindom...according to the dream king Nebuchadnezzar had, the 1st kingdom is Babylon(the head of gold)and when you look at world history.you will find that 3 world kingdoms followed after Babylon..media/Persia then followed the Greeks then followed the Roman empire.world history fits in perfectly with king nebuchadnezzar's dream- Daniel 2.

the fourth beast would it not then be the Roman empire?the roman empire doesn't exactly exist today, but what we do have is the roman catholic church..this is where the woman comes in riding the beast..the church is that woman..woman represents church in prophesy..we are the bride of Christ remember..the bible and world history go together because what the bible has prophecied has become world history..you see the connection?

i would like us to be of one mind on this but its vital that we read the same bible..i read the kjv...lets work together in the hope of coming to one conclusion

I thought mystery Babylon harlot was a separate entity ,city that would be destroyed aside from the one world society ruled by the beast .
sadly this CAN ? for the description of how the U.S. has corrupted itself ,exported sin and until last year even helped pay for foreign abortion ,let alone abortion here in the millions .
I'm not saying it IS the the U.S. ...could be actual reconstructed Babylon in the future ..but we sure have made RELIGIONS of evolution , earth worship and atheism and CHOICE .
THE Revelator did not know of America and our influence given us by Him for HIS PURPOSES ,but God surely did

One mind set pertaining to what God has really said and not what man thinks.

Its not vital that everyone read from the same Bible but that scripture is Rightly divided.
How do we rightly divide scripture? With other scriptures!

One can pull out a dozen scriptures to back a point but if it violates even the smallest part of another scripture then the use of the dozen is in error.

Gaining understanding is key and not what version one reads.

Do you only eat from one source in the natural? No!! So why would any one just eat from one source Spiritually?
The Father has given us many resources

Blessings

Here's the thing , Revelation is not meant to be added to or subtracted from . Some things in general can be guessed? At, inferred, etc . But the vision was seen by a first century man ,given by God , but his attempts to report what he saw for the earth future at least had to be in words he himself was familiar with and his experiences . A bad city will be destroyed , a harlot, and in the end Christ comes as conqueror over the beast who do trips the world . There is another woman,(Israel??) Whose children to to the desert .
some say she's Mary (though I'd think John would know Mary )
. But imo we cannot say for certain because that would be adding .
we can see where the world is heading , and public mention of God in some cases is frowned upon. In some places Jesus is not welcome at all .
so some form of John's revelation. Is marching forward in attitudes and governments .

all we can do is pray and try to be ready .

that's my take on it anyway . We don't know .

im lost guys..any scriptures for all this?
Suggest Revelation and maybe commentary from sources you can trust .
perhaps your pastor .
There are some good ones on tv but again I'm hesitant to recommend as they may not preach as your church does .
if you are not in a church , I listen to Turning Point with David Jeremiah , in touch with Dr Charles Stanley . The first often does a series on the book of Revelation . But others here may disagree on some of it .

again we are not to add or subtract from the prophecy, though there is me by speculation and some believe most it has already occurred under Nero . However since Jesus has not returned ,obviously this is not in line with the prophecy as the antichrist will be conquered by Him .
it can be a touchy subject .
Best advice is read as best as you can. And ask your pastor .
and since no one knows WHEN CHRIST will Return ,don't listen to those who predict the day and hour

what im asking is scripture on why you believe what you believe..im interested in why you believe in what you believe concerning your interpretation about the military etc..can you explain yourself through scripture?

we rightly divide scripture by the Spirit of God..He is our teacher,He knows the deep things of God and He is the one who leads us into all truth..I eat from one source which is the Spirit and that same Spirit feeds me through the words in the Kjv...when i was a kid at school in class.i remember we all had the same text books..we didn't choose which type of text suited us best as we all had to be on the same page for our sake and the teacher..for how would the teacher teach if his text were different to ours..it would be kind of silly really..all im saying is that it is a major inconvenience that we all read different bibles..it doesn't make any sense..the bibles i have seen quoted on this forum are drastically different to the one i read..how do i relate to people through the word when such is the case?

Very true, but with this prophecy in things I've heard and guessing , the temptation seems to be adding details that John in first century did not specify . Obviously one is what is a Mark ...today it could be technology .
What city is the harlot or what agency ...if it's not specified ,obviously God knows but we cannot be specific .
My take or guess on America or a rebuilt Babylon is just that a speculation . There was NO North America known by John ...
We are told not to add or subtract for this book ..

Now Daniel mentioned kingdoms in his statue but there were kingdoms after Rome. Some of his revelation was secret . God knows ,the Spirit inspires but some things are only for Him to know till the end

Peace
