POLITICS HAS REPLACED THE CHURCH!

In times past, riots would take place when the popular Sunday School teachers class was moved to different location.
Have you been in a church when there was an argument, yelling because the building and grounds recommended a color change in the carpet???
What about changing from Traditional music to Contemporary music. Have you known people to leave the church because of that?

Well I have and that means I have been in church longer than you have! People leave for all kinds of reasons but in the last 20 years or so, I have seen people leave the church for a LIBERAL church because the pastor preached the Word of God.

When....IF a preacher denounces something, action, sin....... that a certain political party promotes that God calls sin, those in his church of that party leave to find a church that fits their POLITICAL persuasion where they can go to church have no conviction of their sin.

Isaiah 30:10.......
"Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits".

Something to think about as you look around you today.

Politics is also the new source of personal identity. Someone mentioned to me that the phrase Christian Democrat is oxymoronic because Democrats embrace and advocate abortion, sexual deviation, gender confusion, critical race theory, and socialism, etc., all of which are either satanic or demonic domains. Can a child of God join in membership with ideologies and practices that clearly belong to Satan? I've even seen people spell the word Democrat as Demoncrat.

Hello Major;

Whether a liberal or political Church, they both have one thing in common. It takes Christ out of the center, they do not share the substance of Biblical faith and indoctrinate more of the world's "wide gate" agenda.

Many long time followers of Christ are tired of sacrificing to our True God and instead want to cash in on "self efforts" less the "teaching wisdom" of the Bible.

There are Scriptures that reveal these times here and now. When I look around me it is sadly true.

On the top side, lets be encouraged. There remain so many Churches that continue to hold to the disciplined teaching of Joshua 24:15, Galatians 1:11-12, 2 Timothy 3:16, 1 John 4:6, Revelation 21:5-6, it's endless.

Brothers and sisters, ask God to lead you and your family to this Church, then tell others. Liberal and politics in the Church are trends and destructive and to me are only temporary in God's Kingdom.

The Alpha and the Omega is alive, and at the end, Jesus Wins.

Agreed.

I guess what I am saying.........although I have read it and taught it for 50 years, the realization of the Scriptures telling us that we are NOW at the fulfillment of those Scriptures, is a little challenging!

IMHO, we are right where Paul said we would be witnessing exactly what he said would be taking place!

Agreed. What is so disturbing is watching so many people that we thought were doctrinally sound in God's Word, forsake that to follow a POLITICAL position which is in complete opposition to the Word of God.

I have to be honest and say........I have NO idea how this can be possible!

I personally can not fathom a persons thinking who says they Love the Lord Jesus and then vote for a person who says......
" I will support advocate abortion, sexual deviation, gender confusion, critical race theory, and socialism,".
 
I have refered to them as demonrats for several years now. It is indeed challenging to watch people become what the bible told us they would become, but at the same time it is exciting because we know the rapture is very close.

in all truth F61, I am now praying I become hungry again. I really love it when pastor preach and inspire. And the tea and biscuits.
Now I would attend the teas and biscuits, But not the sermons. because I yawn too much.

So I lost my palate lately. I left my church. I don't have one now only this virtual one here.

Seriously, I was actually falling asleep in the pews.
 
Yes we need a pastor to shake us up and wake us up. A lot of us are like lost sheep with nobody to guide us
Reminds me of what Jesus found on the earth. Those who have a good Pastor are well blessed. This forum is blessed with good pastors.
 
Is it okay to look for is that they truly take their time with the flock. Discipleship and relationships is what is severely ruined, wickedly demonstrated in the world - to see that God centered, Christ loving and fruits of the Spirit being poured out in relationships that's something the world doesn't have nor never will.

Live what you preach and teach.
Be an example of that love and intimacy with the people around you because that's what the world is hungry, longing for and desperately seeking [relationship and family/Jesus Christ] - we have it as a family of God but when it wanes it's so incredibly painful. ❤️

Jesus personally affected the lives of individuals [reaching out to them personally]. Maybe it's a wrong way to think...
