Satan and his angels in Hell.

So you may not like this answer, but the angles that are in hell are those that mated with women to create giants. Read it in the context... the very next verse explains it.

Did the angels that followed Satan in his rebellion not sin when they left their original job that was given by God?It appears that 2 peter 2: the entire chapter is talking about how many sinned in the past and even though it seems like their penalty lingereth for awhile, yet most were dealt with swiftly. Talking about the "old world", or "ancient world" in verse 5 where Noah lived their penalty came to a quick end through the flood.

Think bro - where did satan go when he was cast out of heaven ?
God calleth those things that are not as though they were .
and that which calls or speaks will one day be manifested to all .
When the Lord said to Adam " In the day ye eat thereof ye shall surely die "
Adam lived fro another 800 years or so.
But the truth is that death now reigned in Adam ,But God had given man so much life it took 800 odd years to manifest itself. and he died .
But the truth is he died on the very day he ate of that tree .
The Lord said if a man looketh with lust in his heart he has committed the sin of adultery already .
David looked on Bethsheba and did not look away . the adultery he committed later and the murder was already done in his heart.

It should also be understood that when Jesus died he died under the law and he who knew no sin became sin thus death could not close its doors against Him.
"For the sting of death is sin and the power of sin is the law "
and seeing that it is the devil who has" the power of death " which was given to Lucifer .
Who holding it in unrighteousness used it against Adam and man by entrapping them so that became subject to sin and death .
The devils power then is not his own for ALL power belongs to God .
Death then could not close against the Lord for the Lord by the law, died.
But seeing that he himself had not sinned nor was found any sin in him .Death and hell could not keep him in .
For God could justifiably raise him from the dead . Thus" proclaiming him Son of God"
There is now no place the devil can call his own and there is no place he can now hide . and death is no refuge for the wicked .
There is no one then who cannot be saved if they call upon the Lord .and no one he cannot deliver out of the bondage and grip of the devil.
It was proved before he died . It is proved after he rose again from the dead. For he is the same yesterday today end forever.
Thus the victory over the devil ,death and hell although wrought 2 000 years ago has yet to be manifested ,Though it is by degree and by the measure in every true believer.
and there is coming the day when death and hell will be thrown into the lake of fire as also too the devil and all who followed him.

This is an old error .
Angels cannot mate with people.
For not only cannot any one kind mate with another kind .But angels are neither male or female.
To be able to so mate as many have believed.
The right understanding of that ONE verse so often quoted is the sons of righteousness and the sons of Cain.
which later came to be as the children of Israel and the children of those around them when they intermarried .

You mean into the lake of fire?
Quite close to the scripture that says both hell and death will also be .
Which actually might further clarify or enlighten us as to what 'hell' and the lake of fire are
and therefore help in the understanding of the OP question as well.

Well, if hell is cast into the "lake of fire", then hell must be a separate place from the lake of fire. Hell was made for the devil and his angels, but I can not find anywhere were it says one day the devil and his angels will be cast into it.
Actually the reference originally given 2 peter 4 states.
"For if God spared not the angels that sinned ,but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment" KJV
Is a whole lot clearer to understand than the horrible mishmash of the AMP that it was quoted from.
Yet that passage which I have never given a lot of thought to on reflection has an awful lot of things in it that contradict a lot of what people think about and preach rather loosely.
Then that lake of fire is then a different place than hell.
But as i said in my first reply what is now manifested does not on the face of it conform to the truth .
Even as Adam did not seem to die on the day he ate of that tree.
But this subject needs a more careful approach t o it as also in its exposition.
So I have said as much as I think i can or should on the subject .
For hell is not what people think or death or the lake of fire it seems .

Did not God say to Adam that the "day" he ate he would die? It could not have been a physical death, but a spiritual one. Spiritual death will most surely eventually bring about physical death.
My belief is that Satan and all his angels are already in hell or else this scripture I posted is not true. Scripture does not lie. Which brings me to the realization that when Satan comes to who ever he is dealing with at that time, he brings hell with him. We also know that hell it self is not only a stationary place, but also movable.
Rev 6:8.. And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
Isa 14:9.. Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming: it stirreth up the dead for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations.
Now that is very interesting .
I have one reservation on one point.
The scripture says "DOWN TO hell "
He is also found in the presence of God with the saints . as with Job
Though that is not in the Holy of Holies .
Hell followed him is that not the same as grace and peace shall, follow me all the days of my life type of following?

Every seed bringeth forth fruit after its own kind . We ahve the seed of the woman and the seed of the serpent,
What is sown is reaped . Thus the devil brings hell with him. For that is the fruit of it .
But there is also "I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it "
Hell is as a walled city .

I believe it also goes along with each and every Christian as we have been translated into the Kingdom of light. Where ever we go we bring that same Kingdom with us every where we go. It is constant battle between the kingdom of darkness, and the Kingdom of light where darkness can never take hold of the light.
"And God created a great light to rule the day and a lesser light to rule the night"
A man may see the truth.
May hear the truth.
Can speak the truth .
The truth can be in him.
He may know the truth,
and think and meditate on the truth .
He can walk in the truth
and even do the truth .
But no man save one can say "I am the truth"
He is but like the moon that in the darkest night when the moon still shines bares witness to the fact that the sun still shineth and there is coming a perfect day .
and by sitting with the sun in heavenly places and with a right relationship with the sun and a right relationship with the world .
Gives light and is a light that shines in the darkness to them that are in darkness .

Not so my brother and you are opening a real big can of worms if you continue with this thought. I will be glad to speak with you on this subject, however I do not think it wise to do so as it always deteareates in to disagreements. But, that is just my opinion. You are the moderator.
Matthew 22:30 says that we as believers with glorified bodies will be like the angles in that we will not procreate. Demons are fallen angels and therefore are "A-SEXUAL" and can not reproduce in any way so the idea of demons mating with humans is impossible.
Not only that, but IF that were possible, that would mean that in the line of the birth of Messiah Jesus, there was a demonic spirit which was involved in His birthline. THINK!!!

The truth is to me that I will be very surprised if you do not know the answer to your own question and you are posting your question simply as a conversation starter.
But just in case that is not the case, at the moment, Satan is not in hell.
Rather, the Bible tells us that Satan roams the earth, seeking people to tempt into sin and thus separate from God.
1 st Peter 5:8 states...............
“Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.”
That doesn't sound like he is in hell to me.
In John 14:30 Jesus called Satan the.............
“prince of this world”.
In Ephesians 2:2 the apostle Paul referred to him as the...........
“ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient”.
Satan does not live in hell; he lives and works on the earth and in the heavens circling it.
This is important to know, because soon Jesus will return to earth and collect what belongs to Him. He will defeat the followers of Satan and claim His elect for Himself. Ultimately, Satan will be thrown into the lake of fire and “tormented day and night forever and ever” as we are told in Rev. 20:10.
Afterward, Jesus will judge unbelievers according to what they have done during their lives. Anyone whose name is not found written in the Book of Life is thrown into the lake of fire where Satan and his minions will be by that time as we see in Rev. 20:13-15.
Rev. 20:14 then tells us that Hell and death are also thrown into the lake of fire, so, technically speaking, at no time does Satan reside in hell. But he will be confined permanently in a very hot place that could be called a “hellish” location, to be tormented eternally.
He did die.......SPIRITUALLY! That is exactly why Jesus had to come to the Garden and kill animals, shedding THEIR blood instead of Adam and Eve. That was the 1st example of substitionary atonement.
You, unfortunately have confused Hell and Hades. Hades is the correct interpretation in Rev. 6:8.
The correct understanding IMO, feel free to reject it or dig in and investigate, death takes the body to the dust, but Hades is the place where the spirit of the lost man goes. That of course will change when the Lake of Fire opens for business.
That verse is touching upon certain angels, and I think many believe that it is about particularly evil angels who are far too dangerous to mankind, who stepped out of line either in pre-history or pre-flood.
Satan and his active horde are not there now, but are located in the second heaven---the space over the earth, between the earth and heaven itself. Remember that Satan is called the prince of the power of the air.
The can of worms is built up corruption of an idea that was false to start with that never get to see the light of day as it were.
and like many other matters perhaps reveals that the authority of scripture tough nominally held to final. is so lightly held as to be almost none existent when it does not agree with ones own thinking .
