HAPPY BOXING DAY! For those who celebrate it. It is not something we Americans do, but I like the idea. Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas this year. I am looking forward to the cabin in 2025. Every new year brings us closer to eternity in God's Righteous Kingdom.

That is very interesting because I thought it was an Amercan thing that we as Canadians adopted. I think I am getting this mixed up with Black Friday which I never understood.

Boxing Day for me has always meant the REST day after Christmas... but I don't even know what it means. I just thought it was a retail thing.

Good morning my precious forum family,

It doesn't seem to have sunk in yet that this thread will be closed for comments in three days.
I think it's going to take actually seeing this take effect... to FEEL it. So many wonderful memories... much JOY and LAUGHTER have filled these pages.

I would like to once again say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who came inside the GARAGE to visit and rest for a while. It has been such a pleasure to see things grow and bloom in here.

My prayer is that the CABIN will bring the same solace and comfort to those who enter in... that the GARAGE offered and gave.

God bless everyone.

Good morning, In Awe of Him and Cosia;

Changes from God is a wonderful part of our growth and faith in Christ. When we look back to January 8th's first thread of the Garage we all have come a long way in our fellowship with each other including the fun of joy and laughter.

Big Moose has grown and will now be a Bigger Moose in the Cabin. lol!

Cosia, when you said, "I am sure you will have lots of fun there with "your" CFS family," actually, You ARE a huge part of "our" family. We all love you, sister.

Make sure to get tons of bubble wrap to move everything!!!! And how are we gonna keep track of all the snail family?????????? Ugh! I'm getting light headed againnnnnnnn!
 
My Dearest Mr. Moose... Please see the chart below... the X represents the confirmation and validation that ALL the snails are SAFE... and have been accounted for. They will be taken to the cabin separately so please do not worry your precious little moose nostrils.

Also.... Uncle Hank's photo has been bubble wrapped and will also be taken to the cabin separately. We have the BEST movers ever so everything will be smooth sledding. HA.

I have stocked up the cupboards and ensured that the fridge and stove are in proper working order. The cabin is READY for us.... and I got one of the workmen to make a trail from the Garage to the Cabin. You will see a lovely display of lights along the way.

The vet will be coming by on moving day to take you to your room in the cabin BEFORE the move.He has a special FIZZY drink to give you. When you wake up after your wee nap... you will feel like a brand new MOOSE.

Good morning, In Awe of Him;

Today and tomorrow I'm visiting 3 close elderly friends, one in a nursing home (81 years,) and two others, (95 and 89 years) in their own homes to end 2024.

On New Year's Eve we'll have a quiet evening with Jesus, our family and enjoy a nice meal.

2024 was a year of challenges and new changes. Hazel and I are excited in God's new directions for 2025.

It's moving day!!!!!

Less than 24 hours to place your final thoughts in the Garage. Oh my goodness.... It's been a GOOD YEAR here ( that rhymes even ). :D ( final thoughts for 2024 about this green guy.... He still needs medical attention. HA )

I love you all so very much my precious forum family.... THANK YOU for making 2024 a very special year.

Note* Mr. Moose will be going to the cabin FIRST in the quiet of his walk. Please no feeding him until he wakes up from his WEE nap this afternoon. The vet will be by at 11 am to escort our precious friend to his room at the CABIN. :)
 
The garage has been blessed this year

2024 was a grand and glorious year.
The Garage was filled with all kinds of cheer.
With spills and thrills and wonderful fun
We took our joy and spread some SON.

From snails in pails and basket ball hoops.
Peanut butter cups and loop dee loops.
Fizzy drinks and comfy chairs
with Uncle Hank's royal stares.

A precious moose to make us smile
and many guests who stayed awhile.
Thank you all for joining in
Our move is sure to be a win.
