HAPPY BOXING DAY! For those who celebrate it. It is not something we Americans do, but I like the idea. Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas this year. I am looking forward to the cabin in 2025. Every new year brings us closer to eternity in God's Righteous Kingdom.

HAPPY BOXING DAY! For those who celebrate it. It is not something we Americans do,

That is very interesting because I thought it was an Amercan thing that we as Canadians adopted. I think I am getting this mixed up with Black Friday which I never understood.

Boxing Day for me has always meant the REST day after Christmas... but I don't even know what it means. I just thought it was a retail thing.

Boxing Day started as a day to 'box up' donations for the needy. It's origin is in the UK and British Commonwealth in the 1600's but these days, it is just another part of the Christmas Holiday.
