There Are Good Cops Out There

how do you know when a conscience has been seared?
It isn't just people with tattoos.
Besides, that's only on the outside.

As someone who is supposedly 'assimilated' whatever that is...it's actually not true. I know who I am on the inside even when people judge me on the outside.

When you love God and God loves you He changes you from the inside out.

Besides, Christians are salt and light, our actions DO change things for the better. Even though they may be small. Even when we have no money. Why do rich people think they can actually get away with anything? They think they can just bribe their way out of jail, but they'll be on the road to hell.

But Jesus said it was nigh impossible for them to enter the Kingdom of God like the camel through the eye of the needle.

'assimilated' = When the BORG come and take you over!!!;)

Well, I think the people who actually do get corrected, and realise the truth that their actions were wrong, wouldn't fight or try to rally support to change anything. And they wouldn't accept people meddling in their affairs. Wouldn't they just assimilate and start a new life in peace? of course, money talks and those kinds of people are usually poor, so I dont know.

I dread the day Christians will be forced into correction facilities by law. That will be me over the bridge. They can have the earth.

The bible mentions a seared conscience, so those who have one wouldn't change would they?

Real, truely born again believers will be gone when that happens.

But.......I do believe that the reason behind the Mark of the Beast is for identification of Christians during the Tribulation.

In the olden olden days what they did was have stocks where they put your legs and arms and head in them chained up all day and people could walk past, jeer at you and call you names and throw tomatoes at you.

It was only slightly better than crucifixtion, where they just nailed you to a cross and you hung their naked until you died. Or hanging.

Nowadays, it's either incarceration or exile. In some countries its labour camps or re-education. I think the jury is still out on what methods work, in my country they call it the Department of Corrections, like people have made mistakes and need a bit of twink or delete their wrongs and make it right. But it doesn't always work.

I wish someone would throw a tomato at me...........I am hungry!

I remember seeing ads on tv to recruit cops and they would present the police force as a career that had 'better work stories'.

Also every Thursday there's a tv show called Police Ten Seven. Not sure why it's called that and never watched it the whole way through, as it consists of cops catching people being stupid and drunk and swearing and I find that kinda boring to watch over and over.

They arrest them, question them, handcuff them, and give them a fine or a rap on the knuckles. The offenders faces are always blurred out on the tv but they get their 15 seconds of fame I guess...people who are drunk always have silly excuses. You can't reason with drunkards.

Hi, there, Lanolin - I might be able to help you out with the TV show name -"Police Ten 7" In your country, the police use a Ten Code when using the police radios. "Ten - 7" is the police radio code that means "Arrived at Job".

Here in the USA, police use a radio ten code, too, but here, "10-7" means "out of service" (most likely at the local donut shop while on lunch break.)
:D

Hello brothers and sisters;

In our community of Daly City, CA, I have the privilege to be on a first name basis with some of our local police officers. Some of them are Christian and when I converse with them, email or text, we talk not as a police officer or pastor, but as brothers or sisters. They're human beings called to law enforcement and are just trying to protect and serve their community.

When I ask them about the politics and (bad apples of some police officers) they seem dismayed because its misrepresenting police departments around the country as a whole. I agree with them.

There was a time when I got pulled over late at night. I kept my hands on the steering wheel and the officer (didn't know me) asked me questions about a turn I made overlooking the stop sign. I respected his position and answered straight forward and he asked me to be more mindful to come to a complete stop before making a turn. Reason is pedestrians have gotten hit by drivers making a turn without paying attention to the signs.

We held a community event back in April called Love Daly City and this involved thanking our police department for the wonderful service they provide. It was great seeing the kids riding around the city hall parking lot in police cars. 😄

Pray for our law enforcement around the country. They may wear the badge but most are just men and women doing their job while taking care of their families and raising their children.
