Blessed are those servants whom the Lord when He comes shall find “watching”….that is, being “AWAKE” to having brotherly love. He shall come with the Spirit of His mouth through His servants sent out to the churches to speak His words of life and spirit….the rivers of living water. He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying. We are to entertain the “strangers” with brotherly love. We are to be hospitable and listen and consider what they might have to say….lest He find us “sleeping” in our wrath, envy and strife and He comes in a day we are not aware for the Son of man comes at an hour that we think not.
Luke 12:37-40 KJV

Interestingly, the chief priests and Pharisees were worried when Jesus was put in the tomb of Joseph of Arimathaea. They worried that the disciples….the learners…of Jesus would come by “night” (like a thief) to “steal” Him away.
Their worry is warranted….for today this very thing will happen to all churches while men are “sleeping”….forgetting to have brotherly love. Jesus comes to gather His people out of their presence as He will send His servants to preach His words to them and enlighten the eyes of their understanding so that they may be delivered from men who have deceived them and have kept them in their “graves” they have set up as memorials to themselves. They preach themselves and not Jesus who IS risen from the dead and is alive now.
The modern-day chief priests and Pharisees seem to have forgotten that HE IS RISEN NOW….being ALIVE NOW …. as they preach their covenant with death and their agreement with the grave. They have made the tomb SURE for everyone listening to them. They are preaching that we have to physically die and then be resurrected on the last day….the “third day” as they seal the doom of their hearers with their handwritings of dogmas as they seek after unjust gain. Their handwritings of ordinances have made their “graves” secure….keeping us in their graves….in bondage. They are CONTRARY to us…they are AGAINST us. Through the fear of death (for example: we will go to “hell” if we do not do what they say) do they keep us in their bondage with their covenant with death….their handwritings of carnal ordinances that their puffed up fleshly minds have conceived.
The tomb has been made very “certain”…. “SURE”… to the ears of their followers. There is no other way according to them: the tomb is made “sure”….the grave is made certain for everyone. Everyone must die since that is the way all things have happened since their church fathers have died. Death seems to be their friend and not an enemy to be overcome. But death IS an enemy…one that we triumph over in Christ Jesus.
The scoffers shall come forth and say where is the “promise of His coming”….where is the promise of His presence? Where is this promised “eternal life” ( His life that is to appear in our mortal flesh) for since the fathers have DIED all things continue as they have from the beginning. They will refuse to believe that there is something VERY wrong in their religious thoughts, ways and institutions even though that everyone that has ever attended them have died or are dying.
But HE IS RISEN from the dead NOW. HE IS ALIVE NOW! We are to have His LIFE NOW….not after we physically die and be resurrected later. He IS the resurrection and the life and those who will believe shall not die to the age.
Matthew 27:
(62) Now the next day, that followed the day of the preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate,
(63) Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again.
Again, they have made the grave a “sure” thing in our hearing. They seem to have forgotten that HE IS ALIVE and RISEN FROM THE DEAD already! If He is risen, then we also are risen NOW if we die to sin. They do NOT want His disciples to be preaching that He is risen from the dead NOW….because that means that we are to be also risen from the dead at this very time. This means that all they have been preaching and commanding are in error. Death has no power over Him and us who share in His life NOW.
They want to keep the grave certain until the “last day”. They are really preaching that He is NOT risen NOW by doing so. They consider it an “error” to be preaching He IS risen from the dead unto their congregations. His disciples preach that He is risen NOW from the dead and so we are to be RISEN NOW and depart from their “graves” now.
(64) Command therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until the third day, lest his disciples come by night, and steal him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse than the first.
The grave keepers have a “watch”….a custody. They want to make sure that you believe that the grave is certain until the last day. They want you to keep their covenant with death and their agreement with the grave using the guile…the deceit… that is found in their mouths as they preach for doctrines the commandments of men. They bring you into their bondage with man’s commandments and teachings in order to take advantage. They bring you there so that they can earn an unjust gain after the hidden covetousness within their hearts until you perish away from the earth. They are making merchandise of us like perishable goods to be consumed. Let NO MAN rob you of your reward….His “eternal” life is NOW. Let no man beguile you. The stone is sealed with the handwriting of dogmas that keep us in the “graves” of men.
(65) Pilate said unto them, Ye have a watch: go your way, make it as sure as ye can.
(66) So they went, and made the sepulchre sure, sealing the stone, and setting a watch.
NOW is the day of salvation. NOW is the high time to awake out of our “sleep”. Our salvation has always been in the here and now…living here in this earth. But many have been led astray into thinking otherwise. Our salvation is MUCH NEARER than what we were led to believe….for it is NOW. Know the time: NOW!
Romans 13:10-12 KJV
(10) Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
(11) And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
(12) The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.
We are His body. His/our “grave” was/is with the wicked and with the rich in His/our death. The rich have presided over us and have exploited us in their churches. They have led astray many unto the destruction of the flesh.
Isaiah 53:9 KJV
(9) And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
Just like Joseph of Armathaea….the rich crave the body of Jesus….of whom we are. “Arimathaea” = high place.
Matthew 27:57-61 KJV
(57) When the even was come, there came a rich man of Arimathaea, named Joseph, who also himself was Jesus' disciple:
(58) He went to Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus. Then Pilate commanded the body to be delivered.

They have hewn out a new tomb in the rock…..they have started denominations, churches, religious institutions in their names as seemingly lasting memorials. The church fathers started their churches as a memorial to themselves….their “greatness”…the high place hewn in the rock….as people after them would also attend them and perish in the graves they have hewed out for themselves. The grave has enlarged its mouth as it has swallowed many alive to the destruction of the flesh.
They have rolled a great stone to the door of the tomb….and they “departed”. The church fathers themselves set up the “grave” of their memorials…their denominations… and have died. They keep multitudes of people in their “tombs” with their handwritings of dogmas that bring people into bondage so that they can never leave their churches until their deaths as they prevent the life of Jesus from being manifested in their congregations. The tomb is their “church” that they had started and many attend and died and are buried in them. Many are sick and dying and have died as they come together in the graves started by men. The grave has enlarged its mouth and swallowed up multitudes.
(60) And laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock: and he rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulchre, and departed.
(61) And there was Mary Magdalene, and the other Mary, sitting over against the sepulchre.
Their inward thought is that their denominations should continue forever and their churches to all generations….as their posterity should also attend what they have started in a memorial to their greatness. Their posterity will keep their handwriting of ordinances.

(11) Their inward thought is, that their houses shall continue for ever, and their dwelling places to all generations; they call their lands after their own names.
Nevertheless, man being in honor abides not. The church fathers themselves and all the “honorable” after them have perished from off the earth. They have not continued here.
(12) Nevertheless man being in honour abideth not: he is like the beasts that perish.
Their way is folly…..for they have NOT LIVED. They have perished from off the earth. Yet, their posterity continues to approve of their sayings to this day. They continue to embrace their handwriting of dogmas (ordinances) even though NOT ONE of them has been kept alive in Him by keeping them. We are NOT REDEEMED by the precepts…the transmissions (traditions)… of the fathers. Not ONE of them is still alive today.
(13) This their way is their folly: yet their posterity approve their sayings. Selah.
They have made the grave their destiny….and also for those after them who follow their “sayings” as their denominational teachings are handed out down from one generation to another. Yet, in the “morning” of the revelation of the knowledge of the Truth their greatness shall be destroyed as people will RUN away from their memorials….from their graves….from their church denominations that they thought would continue. Their glory shall rapidly disappear as they will be looked upon in shame and embarrassment.
(14) Like sheep they are laid in the grave; death shall feed on them; and the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; and their beauty shall consume in the grave from their dwelling.
(15) But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall receive me. Selah.
He is not there in their dead teachings. Why seek the LIVING among the “dead”? He is ALIVE NOW. We are all seeking Jesus which was crucified but we will NOT find Him in the teachings of the “dead” for He IS RISEN from the dead already. We are to GO QUICKLY from the “sepulcher”…..their prominent memorial hewn out for themselves…with fear and great joy. We are to “run” and bring this Word to others: He is risen from the dead now.

(6) He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

In the “graves” set up by men there is joy and gladness. Yet, they are rejoicing in their riches as they are slaughtering sheep…..killing people with their deceitful words in order to get unjust gain. “Let us eat and drink for tomorrow we shall die”.
The grave is certain for them and their followers as they celebrate their riches that they have gathered for themselves. Their church gatherings are in idolatry. They are reveling in their abominable banquets as they perish from off the earth. They have built grand church buildings and denominations in their names for a memorial to themselves and many go to observe their memorials and keep their doctrines and commandments. They attend their churches they have set up as tombs hewn in the rock and are perishing from off the earth. His people perish because of a lack of knowledge in the graves of religious-sounding men.

(12) And in that day did the Lord GOD of hosts call to weeping, and to mourning, and to baldness, and to girding with sackcloth:
(13) And behold joy and gladness, slaying oxen, and killing sheep, eating flesh, and drinking wine: let us eat and drink; for to morrow we shall die.

“Shebna” ….meaning “to grow, growth” symbolizes the church leaders who are “puffed up” in their fleshly minds. They are “over the house”. They are the “treasurers” as well as the scribes for Shebna was a scribe also. They are “scribes’: They have written handwritings of dogmas to keep the tomb secure for their congregations.
(15) Thus saith the Lord GOD of hosts, Go, get thee unto this treasurer, even unto Shebna, which is over the house, and say,
What is this they have here? Who do they have here? They have hewed out for themselves ( for their honor) a grave (a church) here on high (the rich men of “Arimathaea”….a “high place”) so that their posterity may attend after them . They have made a habitation for themselves in a “rock”. Their churches have prominence so that all can see and honor them.
They have a “watch” to keep and their grave is made secure with the handwriting of the ordinances of fleshly men who are vainly puffed up in their fleshly minds. (Shebna=growth=puffed up). They think their houses….their denominations…should continue and that their names will be continued to be honored in their memorials as they have made handwritings of dogmas to keep people in them.
(16) What hast thou here? and whom hast thou here, that thou hast hewed thee out a sepulchre here, as he that heweth him out a sepulchre on high, and that graveth an habitation for himself in a rock?
(17) Behold, the LORD will carry thee away with a mighty captivity, and will surely cover thee.
But like a stone…or a ball…being rolled away (violently turned), their honor and handwritings shall be taken away and all of their glory shall be turned into their shame. He blots out the handwriting of their ordinances that are against us, which are contrary to us, and takes it out of the way, nailing it to his cross.
They shall die in a “large country”….for everyone will see their shame and not their glory that they thought would continue indefinitely. Our Lord shall make an “open show” of them (rolling them into a open country to “die”) as He spoils the principalities and their powers (ordinances)….triumphing over them. Their “chariots” of their glory are their fleshly ordinances that they had written for others to keep are to be seen as their shame.
(18) He will surely violently turn and toss thee like a ball into a large country: there shalt thou die, and there the chariots of thy glory shall be the shame of thy lord's house.
Their “watch” shall be taken away.
(19) And I will drive thee from thy station, and from thy state shall he pull thee down.
Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ shall make an open show of them (rolling them like a ball into a large, open country) as He replaces their leadership which they have disgraced. He is the Head of all principality and power. He is the true “Treasurer” for in Him is the true treasure of wisdom and knowledge.
“Eliakim” = “God has raised”. God raised our Lord Jesus from the dead and He is alive NOW and we are raised TOGETHER WITH HIM. The son of “Hilkiah” = “ a portion given by God”. We share in the portion of His resurrected life NOW.
(20) And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will call my servant Eliakim the son of Hilkiah:
(21) And I will clothe him with thy robe, and strengthen him with thy girdle, and I will commit thy government into his hand: and he shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to the house of Judah.
(22) And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open.
He takes away their powers….their handwriting of ordinances….and nails it to the cross….and we are made steadfast in Him with FAITH as all of the glory of the Father’s house shall hang upon Him. He is the Head from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increase with the increase of God. We are His vessels of mercy.
(23) And I will fasten him as a nail in a sure place; and he shall be for a glorious throne to his father's house.
(24) And they shall hang upon him all the glory of his father's house, the offspring and the issue, all vessels of small quantity, from the vessels of cups, even to all the vessels of flagons.
The handwriting of dogmas are nailed to the cross and their burden shall be cut off.

They bring you into their bondage with man’s commandments and teachings in order to take advantage. They bring you there so that they can earn an unjust gain after the hidden covetousness within their hearts until you perish away from the earth. They are making merchandise of us like perishable goods to be consumed. Let NO MAN rob you of your reward….His “eternal” life is NOW. Let no man beguile you. The stone is sealed with the handwriting of dogmas that keep us in the “graves” of men.
(65) Pilate said unto them, Ye have a watch: go your way, make it as sure as ye can.
(66) So they went, and made the sepulchre sure, sealing the stone, and setting a watch.
NOW is the day of salvation. NOW is the high time to awake out of our “sleep”. Our salvation has always been in the here and now…living here in this earth. But many have been led astray into thinking otherwise. Our salvation is MUCH NEARER than what we were led to believe….for it is NOW. Know the time: NOW!
Romans 13:10-12 KJV
(10) Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
(11) And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
(12) The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.
We are His body. His/our “grave” was/is with the wicked and with the rich in His/our death. The rich have presided over us and have exploited us in their churches. They have led astray many unto the destruction of the flesh.
Isaiah 53:9 KJV
(9) And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
Just like Joseph of Armathaea….the rich crave the body of Jesus….of whom we are. “Arimathaea” = high place.
Matthew 27:57-61 KJV
(57) When the even was come, there came a rich man of Arimathaea, named Joseph, who also himself was Jesus' disciple:
(58) He went to Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus. Then Pilate commanded the body to be delivered.
(59) And when Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth,
They have hewn out a new tomb in the rock…..they have started denominations, churches, religious institutions in their names as seemingly lasting memorials. The church fathers started their churches as a memorial to themselves….their “greatness”…the high place hewn in the rock….as people after them would also attend them and perish in the graves they have hewed out for themselves. The grave has enlarged its mouth as it has swallowed many alive to the destruction of the flesh.
They have rolled a great stone to the door of the tomb….and they “departed”. The church fathers themselves set up the “grave” of their memorials…their denominations… and have died. They keep multitudes of people in their “tombs” with their handwritings of dogmas that bring people into bondage so that they can never leave their churches until their deaths as they prevent the life of Jesus from being manifested in their congregations. The tomb is their “church” that they had started and many attend and died and are buried in them. Many are sick and dying and have died as they come together in the graves started by men. The grave has enlarged its mouth and swallowed up multitudes.
(60) And laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock: and he rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulchre, and departed.
(61) And there was Mary Magdalene, and the other Mary, sitting over against the sepulchre.
Their inward thought is that their denominations should continue forever and their churches to all generations….as their posterity should also attend what they have started in a memorial to their greatness. Their posterity will keep their handwriting of ordinances.
Psalms 49:11-15 KJV
(11) Their inward thought is, that their houses shall continue for ever, and their dwelling places to all generations; they call their lands after their own names.
Nevertheless, man being in honor abides not. The church fathers themselves and all the “honorable” after them have perished from off the earth. They have not continued here.
(12) Nevertheless man being in honour abideth not: he is like the beasts that perish.
Their way is folly…..for they have NOT LIVED. They have perished from off the earth. Yet, their posterity continues to approve of their sayings to this day. They continue to embrace their handwriting of dogmas (ordinances) even though NOT ONE of them has been kept alive in Him by keeping them. We are NOT REDEEMED by the precepts…the transmissions (traditions)… of the fathers. Not ONE of them is still alive today.
(13) This their way is their folly: yet their posterity approve their sayings. Selah.
They have made the grave their destiny….and also for those after them who follow their “sayings” as their denominational teachings are handed out down from one generation to another. Yet, in the “morning” of the revelation of the knowledge of the Truth their greatness shall be destroyed as people will RUN away from their memorials….from their graves….from their church denominations that they thought would continue. Their glory shall rapidly disappear as they will be looked upon in shame and embarrassment.
(14) Like sheep they are laid in the grave; death shall feed on them; and the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; and their beauty shall consume in the grave from their dwelling.
(15) But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall receive me. Selah.
He is not there in their dead teachings. Why seek the LIVING among the “dead”? He is ALIVE NOW. We are all seeking Jesus which was crucified but we will NOT find Him in the teachings of the “dead” for He IS RISEN from the dead already. We are to GO QUICKLY from the “sepulcher”…..their prominent memorial hewn out for themselves…with fear and great joy. We are to “run” and bring this Word to others: He is risen from the dead now.
Matthew 28:5-8 KJV
(5) And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.
(6) He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
(7) And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.
(8) And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.
In the “graves” set up by men there is joy and gladness. Yet, they are rejoicing in their riches as they are slaughtering sheep…..killing people with their deceitful words in order to get unjust gain. “Let us eat and drink for tomorrow we shall die”.
The grave is certain for them and their followers as they celebrate their riches that they have gathered for themselves. Their church gatherings are in idolatry. They are reveling in their abominable banquets as they perish from off the earth. They have built grand church buildings and denominations in their names for a memorial to themselves and many go to observe their memorials and keep their doctrines and commandments. They attend their churches they have set up as tombs hewn in the rock and are perishing from off the earth. His people perish because of a lack of knowledge in the graves of religious-sounding men.
Isaiah 22:
(12) And in that day did the Lord GOD of hosts call to weeping, and to mourning, and to baldness, and to girding with sackcloth:
(13) And behold joy and gladness, slaying oxen, and killing sheep, eating flesh, and drinking wine: let us eat and drink; for to morrow we shall die.
(14) And it was revealed in mine ears by the LORD of hosts, Surely this iniquity shall not be purged from you till ye die, saith the Lord GOD of hosts.
“Shebna” ….meaning “to grow, growth” symbolizes the church leaders who are “puffed up” in their fleshly minds. They are “over the house”. They are the “treasurers” as well as the scribes for Shebna was a scribe also. They are “scribes’: They have written handwritings of dogmas to keep the tomb secure for their congregations.
(15) Thus saith the Lord GOD of hosts, Go, get thee unto this treasurer, even unto Shebna, which is over the house, and say,
What is this they have here? Who do they have here? They have hewed out for themselves ( for their honor) a grave (a church) here on high (the rich men of “Arimathaea”….a “high place”) so that their posterity may attend after them . They have made a habitation for themselves in a “rock”. Their churches have prominence so that all can see and honor them.
They have a “watch” to keep and their grave is made secure with the handwriting of the ordinances of fleshly men who are vainly puffed up in their fleshly minds. (Shebna=growth=puffed up). They think their houses….their denominations…should continue and that their names will be continued to be honored in their memorials as they have made handwritings of dogmas to keep people in them.
(16) What hast thou here? and whom hast thou here, that thou hast hewed thee out a sepulchre here, as he that heweth him out a sepulchre on high, and that graveth an habitation for himself in a rock?
(17) Behold, the LORD will carry thee away with a mighty captivity, and will surely cover thee.
But like a stone…or a ball…being rolled away (violently turned), their honor and handwritings shall be taken away and all of their glory shall be turned into their shame. He blots out the handwriting of their ordinances that are against us, which are contrary to us, and takes it out of the way, nailing it to his cross.
They shall die in a “large country”….for everyone will see their shame and not their glory that they thought would continue indefinitely. Our Lord shall make an “open show” of them (rolling them into a open country to “die”) as He spoils the principalities and their powers (ordinances)….triumphing over them. Their “chariots” of their glory are their fleshly ordinances that they had written for others to keep are to be seen as their shame.
(18) He will surely violently turn and toss thee like a ball into a large country: there shalt thou die, and there the chariots of thy glory shall be the shame of thy lord's house.
Their “watch” shall be taken away.
(19) And I will drive thee from thy station, and from thy state shall he pull thee down.
Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ shall make an open show of them (rolling them like a ball into a large, open country) as He replaces their leadership which they have disgraced. He is the Head of all principality and power. He is the true “Treasurer” for in Him is the true treasure of wisdom and knowledge.
“Eliakim” = “God has raised”. God raised our Lord Jesus from the dead and He is alive NOW and we are raised TOGETHER WITH HIM. The son of “Hilkiah” = “ a portion given by God”. We share in the portion of His resurrected life NOW.
(20) And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will call my servant Eliakim the son of Hilkiah:
(21) And I will clothe him with thy robe, and strengthen him with thy girdle, and I will commit thy government into his hand: and he shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to the house of Judah.
(22) And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open.
He takes away their powers….their handwriting of ordinances….and nails it to the cross….and we are made steadfast in Him with FAITH as all of the glory of the Father’s house shall hang upon Him. He is the Head from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increase with the increase of God. We are His vessels of mercy.
(23) And I will fasten him as a nail in a sure place; and he shall be for a glorious throne to his father's house.
(24) And they shall hang upon him all the glory of his father's house, the offspring and the issue, all vessels of small quantity, from the vessels of cups, even to all the vessels of flagons.
The handwriting of dogmas are nailed to the cross and their burden shall be cut off.
(25) In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, shall the nail that is fastened in the sure place be removed, and be cut down, and fall; and the burden that was upon it shall be cut off: for the LORD hath spoken it.
