I don't believe that the Bible teaches eternal conscious Torment. That being said, the punishment would be severe. So, if I don't believ in your god, I will be tortured forever?

Sinners, people who aren't perfect and good... Which sucks because I'm not perfect
Luckily God's son suffered our punishment for us. Which is pretty loving to be honest, considering God is Holy and what not.
If things are evil they need to be punished, kind of like in our world, except we are more excepting of certain evils.

See the Annihilationism thread in the Bible Study section. I guess it has to do with interpretation of verses, but I don't really see a good argument for ECT.This is another that I find confusing: some christians beleive in eternal punishment and others do not. Why is that?
No it doesn't work like that. Sin hurts our relationship with God, so if you truly love him and appreciate him for what he's done, you will ween towards righteousness. If jesus died for our sins, can't we sin as much as we want and never be punished?

The Holy Spirit is also given to us to convict us of our faults, so we may work on them.
You can't become a Christian and then act like and speak like you don't believe in God. It doesn't work like that, you become a new person aware of God's will, and you start to have a relationship with him.
That's like getting married then going off to live with another woman. It doesn't make sense.
So, if I don't believ in your god, I will be tortured forever?
No you are already going there...faith is the solution...you have it backwards...
Sure, but doing evil has it's consequences. The Holy Spirit also as I said before will make sure you don't want to sin.But jesus died for our sins... That debt is paid, so we can do whatever we like, right?
But if I see no evidence for something, how can I have faith that it is real?
Because so many others have...
There is no evidence for life having evolved from non-living matter but you probably believe that...and absolutely no one has ever seen that!

Sin hurts our relationship with God. If you actually have a real relationship with him and believe what the Bible says, when you sin it will devastate you. If not, it's hard to say you are really Christian.
1 Corinthians 10:23
23 “All things are lawful,” but not all things are helpful. “All things are lawful,” but not all things build up.
He died for all sins. And you should, too.So jesus only died for some sins and not others? Confused?
Any part of you that isn't filled with the Glory of God.What is sin?
Any part of you that isn't filled with the Glory of God.
Aka darkness, lawlessness, rebellion, evil, and perversion.
Why don't you ask him and see?Which god is that? 'Cause there have ben quite a few in human history.
