Many Blessings to you.

Looks great.

I have a friend who lives on Oak Island in Puget Sound.
Thank You, I am so very blessed to be here, and when I first purchased the land I had no idea and was shocked a little later to find out that I had my very own Juniper tree! I've been very ill for about 10 years now, and this Juniper tree was a real sign that the Lord is with me and comforting me every day with the stroke of His nail scared hands, as the Lord comforted Elijah in his time of need! Yes, I have been so blessed with the Lords Peace and rest in my soul! Thank you for being a part of my life today brother! Shalom, Derek

God bless you my friend. Health has become an issue with me as well in these last 10 years.

I am very glad you found this site and I pray that you will stay here. I have been here a long time and I guess that is because the mods here work very hard to keep out conflicts and arguments.

Sometimes I feel like we need an appreciation thread for all our members. I have noticed Every one of them here has something great to offer because of GOD.
Via.......will you allow me to say to you that in our lives each one of us has the ability to do one of TWO things.

We can work to get along and be friends and help others to grow and learn or..........
We can choose to be the south end of a north bound elephant in that we care more about ourselves that anyone else.
Proverbs 11:25............
"The generous soul will be made rich, And he who waters will also be watered himself."

All of us will experience a difficult season of our lives. NO one is exempt. We will know what’s like for someone to encourage us. We may also know what’s like to find ourselves digging further into the ground of our sadness. Knowing this, every believer should strive to be a source of encouragement for those God has placed around them.

You be tuff......smart and careful!

Very inspirational message and well said Major.

It's also being with God in his presence. I pray all throughout the day. Prayer is a constant thing, a "walk", so to speak. Prayer is doing laundry, buying groceries, driving to work or school. It does not need be a dedicated activity, although it often is.

Hello LearningToLetGo;

Thank you for your post. What you wrote put this important thought upon me this morning. Right now there are several projects going on right now in our personal lives between my wife and I. For each thing I constantly go into prayer asking God what He says. Then I get on with the task.

Yesterday I got a call out of nowhere from Hawaii. The couple introduced themselves and told me they went through the church directory in our city and I was the only one who answered. I had reservations at first because I get these kind of calls from time to time.

The couple has a long time friend who is in the hospital in our community. She has diabetes, MS, liver failure and is on dialysis daily. They were hoping I could pay a visit with their friend. I asked them questions and then ended by saying I would go into prayer and then call the hospital.

After I went to God in prayer, I felt comfortable making an inquiry with the hospital. I do visitations there and so I know the process when visiting.
l spoke with the patient and she confirmed everything the couple told me. I plan to visit her tomorrow.

I used to go to the Lord the beginning of each day and evening but that was it. But as I grew I just
talk to the Lord constantly throughout the day. To me it's having my relationship with God and IT WORKS!

For example, as my wife and I are tending to a big project (see the Spiritual Pack Rat thread) https://christianforumsite.com/threads/spiritual-pack-rat-problems.60019/

and when we didn't agree, the Lord led us to receive each other's view instead of reacting and snapping at her, or vice versa. This allows us to see the end result (bigger picture) and work it out while having peace in our marriage. It doesn't always end rosy but at least we didn't say something we would regret later.

To me, this is how, where and when God works the more we pray (talk) with Him. I truly believe God used you to post what you wrote and it caught my attention.

God bless you, Jason, and your whole family.

Yes, Bob I will be in prayer for you and this women when you go to visit her! I know the Holy Spirit will use you in a great way to minister to her! This is the act of true discipleship, in going into the highways and byways and compelling them to come to His fountain of Grace! Thank you for being a brave and upfront soldier of the Cross!
