HIS GRACE REDEEMS ALL: RUTH AND BATHSHEBA

I guess that odd idea came from one of my favorite hymns I play a night … this one rendition my CD is from the Nashville group Psalm 150-

I Bowed My Knees and Cried Holy

Love this line Psalm 150 baritone sings with utter abandonment and conviction …

Sat down with Timothy …

But I said Timothy, I want to see Jesus
For he's the one who died for me!

Thinking 💭 before meeting Timothy I really have some I’m stumped questions especially for St. Polycarp - just how did he stand at that stake!

Then next to give St. Barnabas a big hug. I named my husband’s childhood Teddy Bear Barney I clutch every night. My husband’s name is Joseph which means kind which is Barnabas’s given name.

I BOWED ON MY KNEES AND CRIED HOLY

I dreamed of a city called Glory
And it was so bright and so fair
And when I entered the gates I cried holy, holy
All the angels, they met me there
And then they carried me from mansion to mansion
And all the sights I saw
That’s when I said I want to see Jesus
For He's the one who died for all

Then I bowed on my knees and cried holy, holy, holy
I clapped my hands and sang glory
Glory to the Son of God
Glory to the Son of God

Then as I entered the gates of the city
All my loved ones they knew me well
They took me down the streets of Heaven
And all the saints they were too many to tell
Then I saw Abraham, saw Jacob and Isaac
I talked with Mark
Sat down with Timothy <crescendo>
But I said Timothy, I want to see Jesus

For he's the one who died for me

And I bowed on my knees and cried holy, holy, holy
I clapped my hands and sang glory, glory, glory
I clapped my hands and sang glory
I clapped my hands and sang glory
I clapped my hands and sang glory
Glory to the Son of God
Glory to the Son of God

I would ask, "What were you feeling the exact moment you realized Jesus was Lord? Describe that process."

Oooo good question 🙋‍♀️!

The day some? One? Knocked on my doorfacing audibly but no one was visible.

Try that on to Rock 🪨 your world! A come to Jesus moment that took me hours to decipher in shock.

}}}===>>> Anyine else get a HEY YOU! similar???

Finally I figured out I was being summoned across the street to my born from above neighbor’s home to meet Him personally in repentance and acceptance.

Oh yeah yeah yeah I thought I was a Christian but follow I AM? Not hardly.

~ Mabe, dense and a late bloomer!

Oooo good question 🙋‍♀️!

Paul sure would have that answer!
No doubt. What must it have been like? One moment you are a paladin in the service of The Most High, rounding up and slaying heretics in the name of God, then you are struck down by... something (no, it can't be that), then you are accursed, blind and slowly dying... then one of the apostates visits you and you are healed! Your entire life had been wrong. You were wrong!

Then it's time to make amends. You belong to Jesus now and forever.

It's fantastic to behold. I'd love to hear him describe it.

Check out the Ruth and Bathsheba flawed people GOD used as spouses.

May I sit in on that interview Learning to Let Go?

GOD I AM certainly DOES work in mysterious ways!

Think 🤔 about this most of The Bible centers around 3 murderers - excepting Jesus of course -
Moses, David, and Saul before becoming Paul.

From the Ruth and Bathsheba

“…
same grace flows to all who need it, even to you and me

and even to the woman who was summoned to King David’s bedroom, where they committed adultery against her loyal husband and leader of David’s army, Uriah (2 Samuel 11). Uriah was cheated twice by his king, first of his wife, then of his very life. God sees to it, however, that it is Uriah’s name that is included in Matthew’s genealogy, not Bathsheba’s.

This gives us another remarkable glimpse into God’s grace, as Jesus is willingly identified with sinful humanity in this tainted ancestry.

Yet even in this stain, Bathsheba is elevated by God as the mother of Solomon and placed in the line of Christ the Lord. He makes beauty from our mistakes.

Have you felt forlorn? Out of place? Tainted? Stained? His grace can redeem us all.

Prayer

Thank You, heavenly Father, that You see us even when we feel forgotten, forlorn, tainted, or stained. You don’t see that, instead You see Your grace covering us. We are visible to You, just as You preserved a place for these women in Your lineage. Amen. “

Kind of a strange answer here, but I would like to meet the thief on the cross with Jesus.

I believe more people have been saved because of his story of faith and forgiveness than perhaps any other biblical person. Other than Jesus, of course.

I would love to hear more about his story.

To experience if only by proxy be at the bedside of one who is not born from above as they are about to pass from this dimension. You placed at The Gate.

What do you say to them?

I try to impress upon my fellow prayer partners living next to those who are at The Gate of their responsibly to speak up.

Testify NOW for the reason of their FAITH.

Refresh my memory a famous theologian - was it Spurgeon - that the statement that most important ministry is there at the bedside of those passing???

HIS GRACE REDEEMS ALL: RUTH AND BATHSHEBA
I love it when someone admits what we know that WE all are.........."ODD"!

Add me to that list sister!

Mine are:

St. Polycarp
and
St. Barnabas aka Joseph the Kind.

~ Mabe
I would think most everyone would ay Jesus!......Me too!

Second I think may be Samuel. He was a Prophet, Priest and Judge.

He was chosen to serve God before he was born as a result of a mothers prayer.

In Acts 3:20 Samuel is portrayed as the last of the judges and the first of the prophets. Few people in the Bible were as obedient to God as Samuel.

It will be interesting to sit and talk with him over a cup of coffee.

I would always choose David. His faith made him strong. His sin, made him human. His attempt to hide his sin, made his sin even more famous. His repentance was thorough. By trying to be humble, he became great. By trying to become great, he was humbled.

Wow YH!

Bet the poor lad was dazed and confused huh “waking back” up.
Wonder what he saw while he “fell asleep?”

My mother was coded Friday on the table - against living will and medical power directive - my daddy panicked.

Her 3rd major bone was being set.

She came out of the coma Saturday and
I asked her did she see the tunnel and the light at is end?
