"And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word." (1 Kings 18:21)

What does "halt" mean? Now before you answer, ask yourself would I really make it that easy?
To make a decision and follow through on it. To have your mind made up.

Number five:

"And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word." (1 Kings 18:21)

What does "halt" mean? Now before you answer, ask yourself would I really make it that easy?
Based on the context my guess is vacillate.
